"It's too sweet, it's too sweet..."
Yeji followed a staff member down the hallway. In the distance, she could hear shuffling and singing, which she guessed to be Hoseok. The other members were elsewhere getting their outfits on.
When the staff turned into a random doorway, Yeji did the same. She was greeted by five different stylists, all of which would be helping her with her costume.
"Good evening, Yeji! There's a lot of small parts to your outfit today, so we'll be helping you with them," One of them greeted her. Yeji smiled, happy to hear that she was being helped.
They brought her off to the side of the room behind a large panel that could cover any peeking eyes. She stepped out of her award show dress- a red, floor length gown with gold accessories- and into a black and silver dress. There were safety shorts built in, so she didn't have to worry about flashing anyone on stage.
The stylists then gave her some white gloves that reached up to her elbow. After that, they layered the gloves with a black lace.
Her makeup only needed some touch ups. They added more concealer around her eyes, added more glitter onto her eyelids, and fixed her contour. When it came to her hair, they removed the fancy bun she had once been wearing, then began to flat iron it.
Just then, Jimin walked in. She waved to him, and he waved back.
"Are you nervous?" He suddenly asked, plopping down in the chair next to her.
As if her shakey hands and tear-brimmed eyes didn't give him an immediate answer, she muttered, "Well, yeah."
"Just think. You and Seokjin are the first to go on, and all you have to do is cover his eyes," Jimin reminded her. "Then, me and Hobi dance, then we all dance. It shouldn't be that hard."
Yeji gulped. "And if I trip and fall off the stage, then what?"
"Then you're a dumbass, because there is no plausible way for you to fall off," He responded, rolling his eyes. She chuckled lightly, adjusting the hair on her shoulders.
A few minutes later, two of the stylists left. Jungkook and Namjoon entered shortly thereafter, filling their presence. Namjoon entered while practicing his verses, while Jungkook was surprisingly playful.
He walked up behind Yejis chair and began to make different faces while he sung. Despite how nauseous she felt, she still managed to laugh.
"Yeji, Yeji. Show us what you're going to do at the beginning of the stage," Jungkook teased. They had been messing with her and Seokjin all morning since they couldn't seem to get their part without laughing.
