TAEHYUNG AND YEJI SNEAK OUT.

tour era.

Coming back into the hotel room, Yeji immediately ran to hop on her bed. There, she smashed her face into a pillow, releasing a long sigh as she did so.

They had just got back from eating at some fancy restaurant to celebrate their last tour stop of the year. She was happy and full.

"I'm going to hop in the shower real quick," Taehyung said, grabbing some clothing from his suitcase. Yeji waved him off as he headed into the bathroom.

It became silent. She laid with her face smashed into the pillow for a few more seconds before finally getting up. She looked around the hotel room.

It was a beautiful hotel room. It was a suite, and it was better than most of the hotel rooms they had been in at that point. There was a large chandelier hanging in the middle of the room, and there was a small dining and living area in the corner. The beds were king size which allowed Yeji to have plenty of room to stretch out.

She looked over her shoulder, noticing the door to the patio calling her name. She hopped out of bed and walked to the screen door, carefully sliding it open. Warm air immediately hit her skin.

Off in the distance, she could see the ocean. Their hotel was directly on the beach. Small waves crashed against the empty shore.

She took a seat on a lounge chair, stretching her legs out. The air was breezy. It blew her black hair over her shoulder and into her face.

The beach was her favorite place in the entire world. As a kid, she remembered going to the Gold Coast in Australia. She would sit with her feet in the water, letting the waves wash up against her legs every so often.

Her sister and father would be just a few feet away, busy building a large sandcastle while her mom sunbathed. She enjoyed being able to go out with no masks or hats. She enjoyed getting to live a normal life.

She chose the idol life and she knew it. But she couldn't help but reminisce on the normal days.

From behind her, she could hear the bathroom door open. She had left the patio door open to let in the cool air. When she turned around, she locked eyes with Taehyung. He was wearing black sweats and a black shirt, and his once brown hair now looked black.

"What are you doing?" He said, making his way outside. He sat next to Yeji, complimenting the view in front of them.

"Just sitting out here and thinking."
