Crank is a book that I have read recently this year. This book was published in 2004 so it is an older book but it doesn't lack anything! While I was reading this book I felt like I was going crazy. It was an amazing, heart wrenching story line. I loved the character development. This book shows that a sticky situation can occur to anyone. The main plot is about this teenage girl Kristina/Bri who gets into a bad situation with the monster. Crank. (The book uses symbolism to represent the drug Meth as Crank the monster.) Kristina becomes an addict and turns off the high road recklessly taking a sharp left into an endless world of madness. This book I enjoyed very much but I disliked how it was written. Each page the story continued but it was a new poem to represent a new part of her life. With the turn of a page you soon see Kristina's life unravel, her story becoming undone. If you enjoy poem books this would be your book. If you don't like poem books, like myself, I still recommend this book for you. Now I'm going to give a demonstration of the book below.
