TITLE: Red Queen
AUTHOR: Victoria Aveyard
RATE: 4 Stars

Okay, so I started reading this book for a school project/book club and as an assignment we needed to take note. That may affect my review but definitely not much.

When I started this book I was immediately in love with the world the author created. It seemed like a medieval village/ country but still had the advance technology from today's world. Mare had such a strong personality, such a fine burning inside of her, you couldn't help but feel the inner strength radiating off of her.

Then the whole plot of the story story started to take place with the desperation of the world of The people with lowly, powerless red bloods and the high God-like silver bloods.

Mare, the main character is one of these red's who will do almost anything to keep her family alive. One of those things just happens to be going to work as a servant for the Royal silver family.

When she is serving one day at the ceremony for choosing the new queen, Mare happens to show that she too, has powers like the silvers. This is unheard of. And she exposed it to everyone.

Mare, then gets enveloped into the world of the royal silvers by force, as a long lost princess, who's family was killed in war. She gets betrothed to the young prince and is to become a princess so the royal family can watch her and keep her a secret. A living lie.

When Mare gets involved with a terrorist group though, called the Scarlett Guard, her world shifts again, from trying to protect her family, to protecting all red's from the gruesome silvers. Together, Mare and her prince work together to take down the royal family from the inside.

Betrayal, secrets, lies and love. This book had all of it and more.

Anyone can betray anyone, in Victoria Aveyard's Red Queen.

Hey Bookworms! Oh my goodness, it really has been forever since I've written on Wattpad. I just finished this book earlier today and wrote this review on my Goodreads account, when I thought to post it here to for my readers. What did you think of the review? Any book recommendations for me? I have shelves full of books right now to be read, but I'm always looking for recommendations from you guys. Thanks!
