Jungkook had woken up long before his alarm was supposed to go off.

With half of his face buried inside the soft, caramel pillow, he was busy counting the number of leaves falling from the branch of the tree visible from his window and standing outside the building he was living in; his studio apartment befitting the wide space he needed for his mind to function.

The view from this side of the building is nice. From the fifth floor, one could see the not so busy road beneath from where a car horn or two sometimes would enter the window and disrupt a daydream. Evening hours always ring with the cackles of children playing in the park in front and the calm breeze of the lake further in the landscape often rumbles through the papers displaying designs pinned on the board at night time.

Jungkook looked at the picture of himself with his sister on the bedside table and stretched his limbs. He yawned, tossed aside with the fringes of his hair all over the pillow and took his phone in order to read the email arriving the night before yesterday again.

His lips cracked up in a smile and he buried his puffy face on the pillow, fiddling his legs on the mattress in happiness. Not everyday the stars and planets align in the perfect constellation and not everyday one gets a job opportunity in one of the biggest clothing brands in the country.

The alarm rung loudly and Jungkook slapped it shut. After he was done inhaling the remaining scent of fresh laundry from his pillow cover, he got up stretching again. The sunlight fell on his bare back and shoulder, eliciting a savoury shiver down his body and when he felt he was soaked enough in the warmth, Jungkook landed his feet on the cold floor. He picked up the shirt, hung it loosely around his shoulder and switched on the coffee machine.

The Mexican he stuffed last night on the date had to go down with a little difficulty which took him twenty minutes instead of fifteen to finish freshing up. He made his favorite breakfast which is two omelettes with apple honey oatmeal and mix nuts; all the while drinking his coffee with Marvin Gaye in full volume in the background.

He was expected at nine o'clock in his new workplace; a little earlier than official hour because of orientation. Since it was barely seven thirty, Jungkook took his time to doll up although knowing how little effort he actually needed to look like the twin of Aphrodite he actually is.

A full belly helps him to brainstorm better so he engaged himself in what had been the most predominant in his thoughts for the last two days.

The ass faced boss.

Jungkook almost spit his food out at the force of laughter. He had taken his sweet time to stalk the man on his social medias before the interview; not because he had the slightest bit of doubt on himself about his performance in the office but more because he wanted to get a brief idea about the man himself and the kind of words he can use to impress him....

No, impress is such a distasteful word. He'd rather have the boss bewitched by him.

Jungkook could see why the company was such a success; just by sitting for less than ten minutes in the office. The boss seemed like someone who would settle with nothing less than the best and Jungkook appreciated the crave of perfection in the man; side by side giving him kudos for selecting him.

And oh sweet heavens, how much he liked seeing the expression on the boss's face when he denied him the quench of his curiosity. Jungkook had recognized him the moment their existence stumbled at the bathroom door and quite frankly, he had a few seconds of trouble picturing the boss in a gay club provided what he had found out about him.

And Jungkook liked having the information of people's guilty pleasures within his book of knowledge.

The time was running a marathon this morning so Jungkook sped up his routine accordingly.
