"Trust me Noona... You look really good!" Jungkook put his thumbs up in the air; way above his head level so that he can put the frantically blabbering woman at ease to some extent.

"You sure? Isn't it a bit too off with my skin tone?"

"Nope..." Jungkook quickly responded to a person behind who asked if he had checked in with the manager yet. "I had you in my mind when I made it. Remember!"

"Of course! How could I forget?" Sohee breathed out two or three puffs of the cigarette and postured like wonder woman. "It's just that I haven't done this in a while."

"I'm sure you're gonna rock it!" Jungkook approached Sohee and took off her hair jewelry. He placed it in an asymmetric position rather than in the middle of her crown and evaluated the change.

"People won't be able to take their eyes off you."

"Thanks to you sweetling!" Sohee caressed Jungkook's cheeks lightly and said, "No go out there. You gotta rock it too!"

"I will!"

The brouhaha of the corridor hit Jungkook with full force once he stepped out. He was starting to feel a little ache on the soles of his feet but was also high enough in excitement to be able to ignore that for now. He headed towards the operator room to make sure things were going well. Though there was a whole team appointed to bring the best out of the event, Jungkook felt like he needed to confirm everything personally.

An assistant came by, talking to someone over the phone to inform Jungkook that the guests have started to arrive one by one. Jungkook adjusted his hair on the front camera of the lady's phone who was in charge of the music system while taking a selfie and got out.

"Good luck today, Jeon!" A senior staff greeted him.

"Thank you sir!"

Jungkook uses a different side of his personality, an alter ego of himself in situations like these. He has taken his sweet time to groom it; over and over welcoming challanges and playing the role of who he wants to be. And this has resulted in him being able to speak the perfect thing and act the perfect way at perfect time.

Well, only a few exceptions aside.

Speaking of, he wasn't here at the event; and neither was his respected secretary. Last time Jungkook contacted Jimin was three hours ago when he couldn't quite promise to arrive on time. The final verdict of the case was happening today and the judge did not agree to change the date to a suitable one.

Jungkook is more than sure, they did this on this particular day to splash a patch of coal tar on the bejeweled crown of Celeste. And if that happens, Jungkook will be the one to be affected by it the most.

Entering from the side door, Jungkook looked at the stage for the umpteenth time.

He has seen it glamour up, little by little. He may as well have tucked even a flower at the sides of the ramp yet he couldn't help the pounding of his heart whenever he pays a glance at the place - which was ready to display his most beloved creation so far.

"There he is! The man of the evening!" Manager Mr. Nakajima pulled Jungkook by his wrist to meet with the guests who were helping themselves with some pre event drinks.

"Cheers to the massive talent which has been able to pull of such a big show at such a green age!" One person, the executive director of Blossoms, a tailoring material wholesaler, raised his glass.

"To Mr. Jeon!"

Everyone present there clanked their wine glasses together, including Mr. Nakajima and Jungkook bowed deeply.
