It was a quarter after nine when a grey Audi halted in front of the club. Two men came out from both sides, arguing about something that seemed very important to them; in a voice loud enough to draw attention from passerbys.

"I will shut the damn company on his face next time! My own name is fucking enough to build anything from scratch!"

"Boy... Even I have to admit. Your dad was infuriating today. Is he taking his anger out on you like this?"

"Who the fuck knows! But I'm oh so issuing a raising policy within a few months. You just watch! It's my signature they need, not his!"

"If I'm being very honest with you, I also think this would be a proper solution. And the idea you gave in the meeting today..." Jimin trailed off to take his phone out and check the arrived notification.

"Which one?" Taehyung asked, resting his elbows on the car roof.

"That... That one regarding setting the bar. It was a brilliant one."

"Of course it was. It's basic workers' psychology. If I even mention about raising, it puts a positive attitude towards them. And if I set it low from the beginning, the union will definitely demand more and we will come to a perfect understanding!" Taehyung rambled excitedly as they walked towards the entrance.

"Everyone can be a ruler but it takes a real deal to be leader! And.... Don't fucking tell me you brought me to a gay club..."

A car honked behind Taehyung to tell him to move from the middle of the road. He uttered a 'bitch' and got dragged away to the footpath by Jimin who then held onto his cheeks and looked him in the eye.

"You've been so stressed out this past few weeks..."

"And you thought taking me to a gay club will fix that."

"Joonie hyung is here too!"

"What?" Taehyung's bow shaped eyebrows almost touched his hairline.

"I mean he will be, very soon."

"How did you even convince him?"

"He didn't take convincing. Do you need it?"

Taehyung let out a sigh. Today was the meeting with workers' union of the factory and Taehyung would have called it a success unless his father had interfered with his plan. The old man's suggestion about splitting the work load according to wage can be economically functioning but definitely not in a factory like theirs where the skill precision of the worker is more important than their number. This was probably useful at the time when the company was still on the build but now when Taehyung has ensured its roots engraved in almost all part of the country; what he wants more than anything is stability.

His father's pig like face and pea brained opinions in the meeting today flashed in front of his eyes and like always, that was enough of a motivation for him to act out of his character.

"Alright. Fuck it."

"That's what I'm talking about baby!"

Low pitched music and bass greeted Taehyung when he entered into the neon ambient place. The smell of smoke and alcohol was heavy in the air and Taehyung calculated how long he can hold his breath so that he will only inhale bare minimum of the repugnance for the rest of the evening.

Not to mention; he didn't even want to look at the men who were busy making out in doubles or triples or more.

It's not that he is repulsed or disgusted by the idea of men being in love. He believes that love can come in all pairs and forms; with their own significant proportion beauty and stigma. Whereas he can only take solace in playing the role of a distant observer of the games nature plays with the sexuality of human beings; laughing silently and sipping on his drink.
