"I need answers, don't overreact"

It had been two weeks since Vienna had began living with Lake.

Things had luckily calmed down since their second night. Even if it was only because Tommy had put out a tweet, saying he was neighbors with her brother who he didn't even know until he saw them moving in.

It was enough to calm Vienna's nerves before she started up classes again by the end of her first week living there. They had been so happy to find the campus was only two blocks from Lake's apartment. They had been living on the campus for two years before moving back home for a couple of months and never knew their brother had been that close this entire time.

Taking a deep breath, Vienna focused back to the journal in front of her. They liked to write down their weeks and thoughts whenever they feel the need to. It also helped tremendously in both getting things off her chest and in the form of songwriting.

"Viea!" Vienna groaned at the sound of Lake's voice but got up anyways, following his voice out to the living room and being surprised to see three unfamiliar faces.

"Hello?"

"Hi! I'm Charlie!" Right as the American accent hit Vienna's ears, memories flooded back of the hours of videos she had watched.

"Holy shit, dude I love your videos!" The room laughed as Charlie thanked them. Vienna shrugged and said it was no worries as they plopped on the couch next to a very tall person who dawned a mask and seemed to be fidgeting with their hands now that Vienna was sitting down.

"So what was so important you had to interrupt my journaling?"

"Oh forgive me for interupting your girly feelings time sister, but! We wanted to see if you wanted to come with us"

"To do what?"

"Shopping! And other places around Brighton... Lake said you didn't know many places here" The other unnamed person smiles, sitting on the other side of Vienna. She looked and sounded vaguely familiar but they couldn't quite place the name.

"Oh, I'm Niki by the way! We met briefly a couple of years ago."

Vienna nodded, now that Niki clarified who she was the vague memory of shoving Lake out of their bathroom as a girl behind him with pink-ish blonde hair giggled as he whined about his sweater being stained. He had to beg their mom to wash it and luckily the stain had come out but Vienna still felt bad about it afterwards as it had been one of his favorites.

"Plus Charlie's only here for like two more days and he promised to buy me so many things"

"I definitely promised Ranboo many things and this is not the first time I'm hearing this!"

Vienna laughed and shook her head, agreeing to go with the group but standing up for a moment to go get ready.

Luckily none of them followed her, not that any of them would but you never know. They shut their bedroom door and cracked open the window. Thankfully Lake's apartment was on the third floor so any smell would linger towards the bottom or be swept away in the wind. Shuffling through the hidden bag, Vienna found her pen and thanked the gods it wasn't dead.
