NEXT DAY
Y/n woke up in her bed after her alarm rang. She turned off her alarm and then sat while resting her head on the head board. It was the day she can never forget.
She got and lost everything on this day one year ago. She closed her eyes to stop her messy head but she failed to not remember him, his laughter, his smile, and his each and everything.
She sighed and stood up from her bed. She took a shower and changed her clothes. After taking her stuff she sat in her car and then reached her office. When she came near her table she saw the note which Yumi left yesterday. Her eyes were stuck on the note for a minute but she shrugged off her thoughts as soon as she heard the knock.
She asked the person to come inside. The door opened revealing jungkook. He came with his iPad to tell her about her schedule for today. But he's good at reading faces.
As soon as he came near her. He knew that she was sad. Even though she tried to cover up her sadness by rudeness but she failed miserably when his eyes caught her off guard.
"Good morning mam" He bowed at her
"Whats so good about this morning" She replied with a sigh.
"It's just a manner of greeting. " He smiled at her
"Cancel all of my schedules for today" She spoke while standing up from her chair and going near the big wide window. She stood there with crossed arms. and just looked at the outer view.
"Okay mam" He thought for a minute and then spoke. He saw the address on the notepad . but he ignored it and walked towards her
"What's my order now?" He asked
"Rest in your cabin. " She spoke
"Okay mam" He bowed at her and left her office.
As soon as he walked out a tear escaped her eye. The proof of her loneliness. The proof of buried grief. She immediately wiped it off and rushed towards her table. She made a call to Jungkook's cabin which he picked up.
"Don't cancel anything. Come to my office" She spoke and hung up
Soon he came in her office again.
" Tell me" She said
"You have a meeting with *** fashion company's CEO at 12pm. At 3pm you have a meeting with the designers. It will last an hour or two. The next meeting is settled between 5 to 6 pm which is with the advertising team. " He told her the schedule
"Okay. Get ready for the meetings" She spoke in a low voice
"Okay mam" he bowed and then turned back to leave.
he was not feeling good about her behavior so he wanted to ask desperately but he was afraid to lose his job. But he again risked it.
"Mam" He spoke gaining her attention
"Hmm? " She looked at him
"Is there... Something.. Bothering you? " He asked with his lowered gaze and a faded pout
She looked at him in disbelief.. He doesn't fear her even after seeing what happened with Soobin
"And why do you think that? " She asked sternly
"It's just.. I'll get going" He bowed at her and turned back again
"Wait," She spoke making his steps halted
