After the call, Valdis found a contact card sent from an unknown number. She opened it and it was saved as Vee. It should have been sent by a live broadcast company. She saved the number and sent a 'hello' to Vee. Valdis was not in a hurry to recruit any more talents so she closed the live broadcasting app and had a juice. Just as she finished her glass of juice she received a call from an unknown number. Without thinking much she picked up the call.
"Hello."
Valdis's movements paused for a second but then she nonchalantly replied, "Hi." There were a few seconds of silence before the voice came from the other end, "Elder sister would you like to come to our place for dinner tonight?" It was her stepbrother, Ray. Her relationship with her younger brother was not bad. He was very young for her so she treated him like a child and she quite liked him. But she rarely went to her father's place because she did not want to destroy their three-person world. Valdis never felt left out with them but she could sometimes see the aunt being awkward in her presence. And she was quite close to her mother so she reduced her visits.
For Ray, she believed that he should not even be aware of the situation. She replied," Yes Ray." It was not that she was angry at him or something else but with her cold nature, she was used to cherishing her words like gold. Though she was becoming more and more outgoing with her new friends. There was a flash in her eyes which soon went away. Hearing her agree Ray replied to her in a happy mood, "Okay sister I will be waiting for you please come soon."
Valdis responded with a um and ended the call. Just as she ended the call she received another from the manager of the car shop whom she had entrusted with buying 'Euphoria villas'. She accepted the call and on the other end manager gave her the good news of accomplishing the task. Valdis had a slight smile at the corner of her lips and said, "Good job." The documents and entry passcodes will be delivered the next day and he will then send the cars to her. Valdis agreed and ended the call. Then she changed and left for her father's place.
