Ch 44

Soon after they sat on the table the things ordered by Valdis were brought by the waiter. After the things were placed Max served the dishes for her and himself. Just when he was going to serve the manager as well Valdis held his hand under the table. Feeling a soft and thin palm on his hand Max was surprised at first but after realizing it he started blushing madly. Seeing his appearance Valdis's face softened quite a bit. Max gave her a feeling like a big puppy trying to act cute. There was an itchy feeling in her heart wanting to fondle his hair. But this was not the appropriate location and time so she controlled her feelings. 

When she looked across from her the manager had consciously served his plate and was looking into his plate as if trying to solve the world's biggest mystery. She knew that the reason behind it was her sprinkling the dog food. She coughed lightly to grab his attention but instead, she found Max handing her a glass of water with a worried look on his face. Seeing this Valdis wanted to mentally facepalm but she calmly took the glass of water he handed over while showing him a calming smile. 

After she saw his forehead getting smoother again she diverted her attention to the manager. The manager came here today to let them know about the transfer of the 'Euphoria Villas" and give the relevant documents. The manager handed over the documents to her along with the keys. He then said, "There are passcodes for each villa which you can set as per your preference. It also has its own parking space. You can let me know when to transfer the cars and I will immediately make the arrangements."

Valdis said, "You can send them today evening." Then she started eating. Seeing this other two also ate their food. After a pleasant lunch, they bade farewell and Ruby took his leave first leaving Valdis and Max.
