Julia's POV:
I was walking down the halls like I always did at night. I couldn't sleep. Kept thinking about what Pabbie and Bulda told me. I knew I had to let him in one way or another, but now was not the time to focus on that.
I have to talk to Kai, I just can't-
My thoughts were interrupted by a loud thud sound followed by someone's voice.
I looked to see that it was coming from Odonis' room. I gasped as I ran towards the door. When I got there I someone with their foot on Odonis' back, holding a dagger to his neck.
I couldn't let him get hurt, so I found the nearest thing I could find and threw it at the person.
The person had their hand raised, ready to strike Odonis and kill him on the spot.
"Don't you lay another hand on him you-" My heart dropped once I realized who it was.
The person had red hair with sideburns covering the sides of his face. Once he saw who I was, he gave me a vicious smile.
"Hans..." I muttered, my eyes wide in disbelief.
"Long time no see...Princess Julia," he said, turning to me with a wide grin. "It's been a long time since I've been here last, right?"
I relaxed from my shocked state and gave him a stern look. "You don't belong here, Hans."
Hans scoffed, then motioned to Odonis. "But he does, huh? What makes him so special?"
"Unlike you, he doesn't try to take advantage of our kindness! He softened around us and it shows in him every day unlike when he arrived. You are the complete opposite! All you want is fame and power and you don't care who you hurt to get it!" I explained.
Hans' face turned serious as he stepped closer to me, I stepped back, trying to avoid him.
"You know," he stated. "From the moment I met you, you have always tried to get in my way. From Helping Anna, to going with her to find Elsa, to trying to stop me when I tried to kill Elsa. For far too long you have tried to get in my way. But now? Now you'll learn the true meaning of staying out of people's business!"
Hans then started to walk towards me again. I tried to back away from him, but he quickly grabbed my arm.
"Why not get rid of you while I'm here eh?" he smiled, circling the blade of his dagger on the center of my stomach.
I looked into his eyes, which were showing nothing but murder.
I tried to pull away from him, but he pulled back with much greater force.
As we were both going against each other, I heard a loud thud and I saw Hans fall to the ground. I looked up to see Odonis holding a lute. He dropped it and looked at me.
"Are you okay?" he said, his face showing true concern.
I nodded.
He nodded as well and then grabbed my hand and rushed me towards another room.
"Let's hurry!" he said, "he won't be out for long."
When we got to another room, we hurried to close the door, getting encased by the darkness.
I was breathing so heavily that I didn't notice that I was pressed against Odonis' chest and he was holding me. It was only when I looked up that I finally stepped back, embarrassed.
"Sorry," I muttered.
"It's okay," he replied. He sounded defeated, but I didn't think much of it.
After a minute, I created a light to let us see each other in the room. I looked up at him and was shocked by his scarred face.
