"It's about being alive and fiesty, not sitting down and shutting up, even though people would like you to do."

"Woo!" I shouted, with a grin on my face, as I sped down the deserted road.

I felt so alive, driving faster and faster. There wasn't a single car around on the road I was on. So, I decided to break the law a little, and go just a little faster than what the speed limit was posted. I looked at my speedometer, which read eighty, instead of the legal speed, sixty-five. I opened my windows, and let the wind blow through my hair.

"Jackson," Bella spoke softly.

I completely ignored her by reaching for the radio. I heard a country song play and I pressed a little harder onto the gas pedal. I looked at my speedometer again, and it read ninety, and I gave a crazed smile. I hadn't done something this reckless since high school, and it felt pretty good to be bad. I was going to be in California in no time.

"Jackson!" cried Bella, once more, and I ignored her, while I continued to speed down the road.

I could hear the wind whistle, and fly in my hair. My adrenaline was up and pumping, and I couldn't get enough. I shouted in excitement once again, keeping one hand on the wheel, and the other resting on the outside of the window.

"JACKSON!!" Bella screamed fearfully.

I snapped back into reality, and awoke from my dream.

"What? Who? Wh-"

"You said you wouldn't fall asleep again. I'm not an expert at this you know!" she continued. Bella was sat in the driver's seat, while I groggily rubbed my tired eyelids.

"When did you get there?" I asked.

She scoffed, and rolled her eyes, "really? I've been driving for the last ten or twenty miles because you kept dosing off and almost killed us, twice!"

"I can't help it! I haven't slept in two days!" I argued.

"I figured almost dying would have recharged you," she mumbled.

"Well you're the one who brought me back, so if you want to blame someone blam-" I snapped back.

"Actually, I wa-" Joseph began.

"Maybe if someone wouldn't have started anything, I wouldn't have had to!" she challenged, swerving a little to the right of the road. She immediately turned the wheel straight and held it there.

"Well, if someone wouldn't have chosen to bring him along, then I wouldn't have had to start anything!" I was not going to lose this argument, I can't believe she was getting mad at me for sleeping!

"Uh, I thou-" Joseph started again.

"Oh please, he saved your life, and he saved mine! What if he hadn't had come, what would have happened then? Oh yeah, We would have been a ZOMPIRE LUNCHABLE!" she raised her voice.

"I think you mean, VAMBIE LUNCHABLE," I corrected her.

She shot me a glare, swerving to the left this time, "Don't you dare correct me."

"Well I-" Joseph tried speaking again.

"Shut up, Joseph!" Bella and I said in unison.

"You think you're always right! You're so damn selfish, no wonder my dad chose my mom over you, I bet she was way nicer than you. I wish she was here instead of you," Bella spat, driving in the middle of the road. Of course, there were no cars around, so it really didn't matter.

"I'm selfish? I don't know if you realized this, but I took you in! I saved you, when you wanted to look for your arrogant, dead father. And your mother died giving birth to you, so I'm not to blame here," I claimed, enraged at what she had said.
