"A lie can get halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to put its pants on."-Wintson Churchill

She knew she really shouldn't be eavesdropping, but when she heard her name, she had to listen in.

"Miss Daniels is going to be alright, she suffered a mild concussion, and will need to rest, as for Mister Daniels..." I heard the doctor say.

"Alright thank you, sir."

I had to go see Jackson, the only question is how?

"Bella?"

"Ah, behind here," I said, peeking from behind the door.

"What were you-you know what I'm not even going to ask," he chuckled, "so the doctor said that you're going to be okay, you just need rest, so get your butt into bed."

I gave him a look, "don't tell me what to do," and made my way back under the covers of the hospital bed.

"Alright, try and get some rest, I'm going to see if I can check up on Jackson, poor guy..."

My eyes widened, "Jackson? Joseph you have to take me to see him, please," I begged.

He looked at me, "no, Bella you need rest, you-"

"I won't even blink until I get to see him, I have to make sure he's okay, please Joseph," I pleaded.

"I'll make you a deal, we both go to the doctor, and if you can convince him, I'll take you."

I stood up, "sounds like a plan, but you don't have to get him, I'll just press this little button," I pressed a red button with a first aid sign on it, "and he'll be here in no time."

Within seconds, the doctor came rushing in, "Miss Daniels, what's your emergency?"

"Well that was fast. I just have a question, you said that I need rest, correct?"

"Yes, you suffered a mild concussion."

"You see, the thing is, I can't, or I won't be able to until I know that my," I paused, "adoptive father is alright, so I suggest if you want me to go to sleep, you let me see him."

"But you aren't well enough, you have to rest," he arugued.

"No, either you let me see my father, or I won't rest, I won't follow your stupid orders! I feel fine, I've been resting enough, just let me see him!" I exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, but you can't see him," he snapped.

"You don't understand-"

"You're right, I don't, now if you'll excuse me, I have better things to do like saving lives of people I actually care about," the doctor sneered as he stormed angrily out of the room.

I was enraged and in shock about what he had just said. I didn't care, if he didn't care about me, that would mean he wouldn't care about the things I do. I was going to go see Jackson, I had to make things right with him.

"Come on, Joseph," I said, getting up.

"Bella, where are you going?"

"I'm going to see Jackson, with or without you."

"Bella-"

"No. Just stop."

I opened the door and stormed out of the room. I turned right, and I continued to storm down the hall.

"You don't know his room number, Bella, slow down."

I laughed, "and you do?"

"As a matter of fact-"
