Declan's birthday was on the 5th of February. He had turned 9, just one year away from entering double digits. They all couldn't believe how time flies. Emily could believe how much had changed in the 3 years since she had met him.

Emily thought of all the good memories, on the nights she couldn't get to sleep. When the nightmares and memories haunted her all night.

Louise had baked a cake. And the 4 of them had a day to themselves. They spent the day binge watching movies, and eating too many sweets.

.

Emily sat in the 4 seater, staring into the sky. The team had been called to Ohio to catch the Angel Maker.

From the moment she had seen markings on the body on the morgue she knew it was familiar. Something about it was.

When she looked up into the night sky, she had it. They were constellations.

It made her think of her childhood. She used to watch the stars with her father. They would lay a blanket on the roof of his apartment and just look above. They would spend the whole night camping out, just lost in the world above them.

Emily looked up to see Dave sitting down next to her, handing her a glass of scotch.

In Front of her was Hotch and Morgan.

"So, how did you know about the constellations?" Rossi asks before taking a sip of his own scotch.

"I used to look up at them, when I was younger" Emily said, "It was one of the things I did with my father when he wasn't away on assignment"

Emily noticed her slip of tongue. She had never mentioned her father before. She hoped they would just think he was in the military.

"Where is he?" Reid asks from the long couch, "Your father, I mean"

"He was-" Killed was on the tip of her tongue. "He passed away when I was 19, just after I graduated"

She didn't clarify where she graduated from, but they would assume it was high school. Even though she knew it wasn't.

.

A couple weeks later Emily gets called into Hotch's office.

"I want to send you and Reid in Undercover at Liberty Ranch in Colorado." he said, handing her a file.

"I agree, for this type of situation you need 2 people who seem non threatening" Emily said standing up

"You will leave tomorrow, and Prentiss?"

Emily looked up at him from where she was standing at the door. "Yes?"

"You're okay with the Undercover work?"

She nodded and walked out. Little did he know how good she was at the undercover work.

.

They got out of the car. They had come with another officer, Nancy. In the car they had gone over all the necessary details they may need. Nancy had gotten out of the car first.

"Reid"

He looks at her, "Listen, no matter what happens you need to stay in character. You are not an FBI agent. You are a child victim interview expert. Do not stray from that. You don't look threatening, use that and your brain to get your way in. If the situation changes play along"

"Why-"

"Reid" Emily said with more emphasis

"I will"

.

God, Emily was mad. She couldn't believe how ironic it was. She was asking God. They hadn't been told there was going to be a raid.
