"I'm telling you, if I wanted your friend, I would've told her by now," Mateo argues. To me he says, "I need two sweet teas and a lemonade."

Aria smirks. "I don't know why you sitting here just lying through your teeth, because you definitely want Daniella. You're just too scared to say something!"

Mateo glared at Aria, leaning against the counter, "Do you ever shut up?" he scowls.

"Do you ever have the balls to do anything?" Aria snaps back.

"Can both of you shut up and do your job before Dad comes out here and takes it out of our checks?" I snapped, slapping both of their necks.

I handed Mateo the drinks and smirked, "By the way, everyone including Daniella knows that you like her. Just do something about it."

"Oh my gosh!" Mateo groans.

"Hush and take the drinks over." Aria giggled.

The fun thing about being a triplet was being both neutral and messy when the other two were bickering. It was like the best of both worlds. That was also the best thing about having a big family, you were able to take sides but remain completely neutral while still getting in on all the mess while staying out of it at the same time and nobody had a bigger family than mine.

That I know of.

My family consisted of nine people. The extra two were my parents, it was seven of us kids: Xiomara being the eldest, Mariana, Angelica, Angelo, and then us three triplets, Aria, Mateo and myself.

Growing up we were of course, tight knit, but we were also trouble makers whenever we could be. The thing is, not all of us were bad. If all of us were in something, it was because one of us were in trouble and we were standing behind our sibling no matter what.

Simple as that.

Being in this family also meant working at the restaurant: Familia De Amor. Our parents opened this restaurant when our oldest sister, Xiomara was two years old, and it became popular by the time Angelica was born.

The rule in the family is the moment you're sixteen, you have to start working at the restaurant and continue working there until you graduate college, or find another job towards your chosen career.

So, while the rest of our siblings have moved on to have jobs of their own, us three stayed behind at the store with our parents.

Sometimes it was fun, sometimes it wasn't. Most days, we talked about who we believed would be the next to branch off, but couldn't ever come to a direct prediction, because we were still trying to figure out exactly what we wanted to do with our lives, and were scared of what life looked like beyond the safe guard that the family restaurant gave us.

Well, I guess that's how it seemed to me. Truth is, Mateo and Aria had somewhat dipped their toe into the real world because they were able to experience something I had never really been able to touch: love.

Mateo has had his fair share of relationships, and currently had his eyes on Aria and I's friend, Daniella, although he'd never admit it to us because he's too scared to talk to her, and Aria has been in a relationship with her boyfriend, Christian since our freshman year of college, so almost three years, which was something none of us expected from her.
