Luna's POV. Two Weeks Later: Album Release Party
As the album release party loomed just a few hours away, nerves gripped me tighter than I thought possible. The anxiety churned in my stomach, making me question whether I could keep down anything I'd eaten in the past two hours.
While everyone around me buzzed with anticipation, I found myself shaking with the kind of nervous energy that rivaled a novice on their first day.
Mariah, Looney's girlfriend, took charge of my makeup for the night, and as her hands worked their magic, I couldn't shake the feeling that tonight was a monumental step, and I was on the edge of something life-altering.
That's what scared me.
Once Mariah finished my makeup, she gave me a reassuring smile, "You look stunning, Luna. This is your night, enjoy every moment."
I nodded, trying to ease the knots in my stomach. As I stepped into my dress, a beautiful creation chosen by Aria, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the support surrounding me. Yet, the weight of the occasion hung heavy, a mix of excitement and apprehension.
