"What's going on with you," Theo asks in amusement. "You've been smiling all morning."

Mariana sat down beside her husband on the bar stool, handing him a drink. "She's on a natural high," she says.

Christian came around the counter, wrapping his arms around Aria's waist, nuzzling his face into the crook of her neck. "Obviously," He chuckles. "We just wanna know why."

"Well–."

"¡Tía Mari!"

We quickly averted the topic as the little patter of our nephew's feet came towards us with a wide smile, holding his arms out to Mariana. Mariana smiled, scooping Julian in her arms, and placing him on her lap.

"Hola, familia. Hace mucho que no nos vemos," Javiér says, walking up to us.

Javiér Ramirez.

One of the most powerful business owners in D.C. His family owns a series of law firms not only here in D.C., but also in different states like Alabama, Michigan, New York, and New Hampshire. He also happens to be Julian's father and Xiomara's on-again, off-again boyfriend that our father adores.

He also happens to be the only man that our father approves of.

Let's just say our dad is pro Afro-Latino men.
Aria grinned. "Mr.Big-Bucks," Aria says, reaching out to do their handshake. "Got a twenty to spare?"

"Don't you have enough money," Xiomara scolds. "You work for Dad."

"Exactly," Aria points out. "I work for DAD! I should be working for Javi."

Javiér shrugs. "I mean, I do pay a good amount of money. Weekly."

Both Mateo and Aria's eyes widened. "Oh, I'm putting in my two weeks' notice!"

Javiér glanced over at me and raised an eyebrow. "Luna, who are you looking for, and why are you smiling so hard?"

I shook my head and continued to look around, waiting for any sign of Jordan. I hadn't been able to get any sleep last night because of how giddy I was from last night. Last night with Jordan was truly one of the best nights of my life, the only thing that truly bothered me was that I couldn't tell my father about it, and I told him everything, but this was the one thing that I couldn't tell him.

Well, at least I had my siblings to talk to...

"She just started seeing Jordan," Angelica whispered. "You know, the guy who used to play for the Warriors and played for the Wizards now?"

Javiér's eyes widened in shock and the corners of his lips turned up. "Oh! Wow, I didn't know you had it in you, Lu. Does Señor Perez know—."

"No!" I exclaimed. "He doesn't know and he can't know. He already tried to run him off once."

Javiér grinned. "Damn, when did he start running people off?"
