Lev's POV

I laid down on the floor of the hms pogue, as John B drove the boat to pick our friends up. "Dude, look at this place" JJ whistles, "This looks worse than what Agatha did" I looked around as neighbors cleaned the mess last nights storm caused, "So where are we going now?" I questioned. "Well.. we did some digging on our own time and decided we need to get to a computer" I furrowed my brows, "For what?" I questioned, "looting potential" Pope said, adjusting his hat. 

"I have a computer and our generator probably has started up" I said, "No offense, but we aren't going to Kooklandia" Pope said and I rolled my eyes, "It's fine, no ones home anyways" I said.

"Woah this is your house?" JJ said, "And I thought the Cameron's house was huge" John B reacted, "Well we are richer than them" I said unlocking my front door. "Make yourself at home, boys" JJ instantly running towards the fridge, "We aren't raiding her fridge, JJ" Pope said, "It's cool" I laughed as I kissed JJ on his lips. This kinda shocked everyone including me.

"So are y'all official now?" John B asked as I logged into my laptop. Before I could reply, JJ interrupted, "Duh" and my neck snapped up to look at him. I smiled and I stepped aside for the guys to do what they needed.

I made my way downstairs just as my sister walked into the house. Shit. "Hey" I said as she sat down on the couch, "hey, I got a question before I forget" "Yeah, what's up?" "Are you and Rafe dating?" "What? No, we are just friends" I said, "Well, Kelce saw Rafe leaving here the other morning". Internally, my eyes widened but I didn't react, "Oh, Sarah and Rafe spent the night, family shit" She nodded her head and grabbed her water bottle, "I'm going to the gym".

I raced upstairs after she left, "Are y'all almost done, my sister came home, but you're lucky she left" I said turning towards JJ, who had an unreadable expression on his face. I furrowed my brows.

"Yeah, we printed some pages we needed, but we are done now" Pope said, "thanks Lev" John B tapped my shoulder.

"JJ" I grabbed his hand as he was about to leave my room without saying anything. "Are you alright?" "Yeah, why wouldn't I be" he shrugged it off. 

That felt like a pang to the chest. What the fuck happened. 

Pope gave me sympathetic look and a quick hug.

"I don't know Sarah, he just walked out so weirdly" I said, "he didn't even say 'goodbye' or 'see you later'" "Did you say something?" She questioned, "No bro" I groaned.

"Well the kegger should take your mind off it tonight, right?"

"Yeah" I mumbled.

As soon as we got to the boneyard my eyes were scanning the beach for JJ. "Lev" I heard from beside me, "Yeah" I spoke turning towards...Rafe. "Are you seriously looking for that pogue?" he asked laughing, "So what if I am" I mumbled, spotting him near the water. I was about to make my way towards him when Rafe pulled me back, "C'mon let it go, he's not one of us" I tried yanking my arm back from him, "Rafe, I don't care" I said in an annoyed tone, "Let me go!" I said a little louder making some people stare at us. "No Lev, you're staying with us, bets off" he said as he grabbed both my arms, "LET ME GO" I practically yelled, making the music die down and voices get quiet. 

"Hey asshole" I heard JJ say as he shoved Rafe off of me. "She said no man, leave" JJ said, making Rafe laugh and Kelce and Topped showed up next to him. "Fuck outta' here Pogue" Kelce said, shoving JJ back. I stepped in-front of him, making their eye brows furrow. "Seriously Lev, HES A POGUE" Rafe practically yelled in my face, his pupils dialated. "What's wrong with you?! You're such a dick" I said as I threw my drink on him. 

"Oh yeah? If I'm such a dick, why were you begging for mine the other night?"

"Ooohhh" the voices around us mumbled.

My eyes widneded.

I looked back at JJ to see him already staring at me. That unreadable expression back on his face.
