"Lev, you're supposed to stay on the board" Rafe called out from the sand. "Rafe, you're supposed to shut the fuck up" I hollered back, mocking him. Our friends abrupted with laughter. I gave up at trying to surf, drying myself off and then throwing the football around with the guys.

"Mhm, take a look at them" Delaney smirked as a few guys pulled up to the beach, surf boards under their arms. I eyed each of them but not recognizing them from figure eight. "Damn pogues, John B and his gang" Topper said, drying his hair off with a towel as they wanted to head back home.

We all sat around the bonfire, drinking our alcohol and fooling around. I got up grabbing myself a water from the cooler, trying to sober up and not have a bitching hangover the next morning. As I was walking back to my spot, Rafe pulled me down into his lap. He gazed up at me, mumbling a "hi" as I giggled and ran my fingers through his hair, ruffling out the gelled mess.

There was absolutely nothing going on with us. Our relationship was 50 percent flirty and 50 percent asshole. We have been always too close of friends to let anything more happen, and honestly we were fine with it as it is.

"No way!" I spoke wide eyes at Delaney, "Mhm last year, he's a great kisser if you're wondering. Highly recommend" she teased, I was just now finding out that John B and her had a tiny fling around last year. "Why did no one want to tell me about that, that explains so much now" I shook my head, still surprised.

"Oh my god! I have an Idea" Sarah squealed, sitting up in her lawn chair. "Let's make a bet, it'll be fun" she said, eyes following to each of us before landing on me, "Levinson, since Delaney had her share of a pogue....I bet you can't get one to fall in love with you and I mean in lovvee" she giggled, clearly drunk now. "Oh shit, here we go" Rafe mumbled, peeking his head up.

"And you have until the end of summer" Kelce added in, this was very amusing to them. "What? no, that's only 3 months" I said, eyebrows furrowed, "you scared Lev, you don't think you got what it takes to win" Delaney teased, I rolled my eyes getting annoyed with them.

"Fucking fine, you're on" I huffed out.
