A couple of weeks passed.

She was now currently enjoying the sun in the Bahamas on a private island with a bunch of other rich figures. She had brought Lukas on this little excursion.

They were on a blanket close to the shore. She took her shirt off, revealing her bikini, so she could put sunscreen on. As she lathered it on her chest and her arms, Lukas had his eyes glued to the valley of her breasts.

"You know just because I'm wearing sunglasses doesn't mean I can't see where you're staring," she commented.

He gained a grin like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar before he replied, "Why would I want to stare anywhere else but at you?"

"Very smooth but you're still not getting in my pants," she said and he chuckled.

They soaked up the sun for a little while. But then they got in the water. She walked along the shore letting the water lap at her legs as Lukas followed. She looked over her shoulder at him to find him staring far below...at her ass.

She shook her head as she stopped and splashed water at him. She giggled at the parts of his hair that were completely soaking wet.

"That was so...mean," he pouted as he wiped at his eyes before he smirked. "What are we going to do about this?"

He had a mischievous smirk and she immediately knew what was coming as she went to flee, "No, Lukas."

But he grabbed her from behind and picked her up as she screeched. Then he dunked her under the water. She coughed as she came back up and she glared at him before she splashed him again.

It started a little water war between them. It ended when he grabbed her arms and held them out to the sides. His hands were entwined with hers as he asked, "Are you done?"

"Say I won and, yes, we're done," she smirked.

"You're so fucking competitive," he shook his head but his eyes were appreciative as if he liked that fact and he bit his lip. "What do I get if I do?"

She stared up at Lukas and his blue eyes were even more brilliant with the blue of the water surrounding them. She noticed they were staring down at her lips which took the breath right of her lungs. They were ever so close to each other. The thought of what they looked like right now had her pulling away out of his gentle grasp.

"Never mind. You win," she said quietly as she walked out of the water to dry off. Lukas furrowed his eyebrows but he, nevertheless, followed shortly after.

The next day, the entourage she traveled with had gone out on the water on a big yacht. She and Lukas were the only ones that stayed behind at the compound.

They were lying on a hammock outside. She was pressed up against his side and her legs were curled into his lap. He had one hand resting over her knee and his other arm was wrapped casually around her shoulders. She had her sketchbook propped up on his stomach which she noticed despite the shirt he had on was very solid. She had noticed that yesterday as well but seen it instead of felt it.

It was the first time since the fashion that she was drawing again. Lukas watched in what seemed to be a matter of a mere minute as a very detailed outfit took form.

"You're so fucking talented," he commented as his fingers drew circles into the small of her back.

She smiled at the compliment as he continued, "I heard that you draw every single design. Is that—is that true?"

She nodded as she completed her drawing and Lukas continued to speak, "And you've done this since you were nine?"

"What? Did you read a biography on me or something?" she teased as she looked at him.

            "Maybe," he grinned.

She smiled a bit as she replied, "Yes. Since I was nine."

He nodded before he teased as well, "And I thought you trust fund babies weren't supposed to have any talents."

"That's so mean," she smacked his chest playfully. "Well, this trust fund baby definitely does."

He hummed in agreement as she turned her head to look back at her sketch. Suddenly, he moved and his head was so close to hers she could feel the movements of his lips as he spoke against her ear, "And what other talents do you have?"

His husky tone dripped with obscenity. She knew he was being dirty but it made her heart rate spike in exhilaration. It accelerated even more when he moved her hair to the side ever so slowly before she felt his lips ghost down her neck and she could feel his hot breath on her skin, creating goosebumps.

She could feel everything so acutely. She could feel each beat of her heart against her chest, she could feel how the blood in her veins felt like it was on fire, she could feel how her breathing became a bit labored. She could feel desire in her bones again but then she could feel the trace of his lips stop at the chain around her neck.

The necklace she now wore that had her wedding ring on it. Jack, she thought as if she'd somehow forgotten him for only a moment and guilt reared its ugly head.

            She sprung away.

"It's, um, hot," she excused without looking at him. "I'm going inside."

And she quickly walked away. As she did so, Lukas threw his head back against hammock and breathed out in frustration.  Fuck, he mouthed the word as he thought about how he wasn't very good with boundaries.

The only thing going on in her brain as she scrambled away was Jack. She felt like she was betraying him in a way. She had promised him forever and, yes, he was dead but she had never intended to break it...even in death.
