AN: so this chapter is mature; there's some smut. From here on out in the story there's gonna be quite a bit of it so fair warning

          A week passed.

Lukas could not keep his hands off of her nor could Rose keep her lips from his for the past week. Ever since they made things official, kissing seemed to be the only thing they wanted to do.

It was what they were currently doing.

They were in New York and in her apartment. It was morning (almost afternoon really but she didn't want to admit that she spent all morning kissing Lukas because she couldn't get enough of him).

They were laying in the bed still and she was straddling him as she kissed him. His shirt was off since he didn't wear one to sleep and her hands roamed his torso as his roamed her curves over her nightgown.

Lukas desperately wanted to take it off but was not allowed to; he was only allowed to touch. He wasn't sure if Rose was deliberately trying to teach him patience but even if she wasn't, he was sure he was going to come out of this relationship as the most patient man in history. Only for Rose.

As they kissed, he couldn't help but think about how he had missed a meeting with Logan because he was trying to screw his daughter. It made him chuckle in between kisses, "You know I was supposed to meet your Dad."

She halted as she leaned back and ran her fingers through her hair in panic, "I thought that was tomorrow."

Over the past week, Lukas and his company, Gojo, had been approached by Waystar to possibly be acquired. There was supposed to be some meeting between Lukas and her father about it.

He shook his head as his fingers ran up her hips slowly, "No. But it should be fine. I sent suits to meet with him."

"You sent suits to meet with my father?" she raised an eyebrow as she chuckled imagining how livid her father would be, at least, at first; then he might even respect Lukas for having the balls to do that. "The audacity. My father will either love you or hate you."

"Don't I get points for keeping his daughter happy?" he grinned.

"Oh, yes," she teased. "You'll always have that excuse...if he doesn't kill you first."

His eyes grew a bit fearful before he shrugged, "It'd be worth it."

She smiled softly before she leaned down and kissed him shortly before getting off of him. She got up from the bed and he pouted, "No."

"Yes," she smiled. "I have to get ready for my brother's party tonight and you probably have to meet with your team."

If the suits had even met with her father, there would probably be things Lukas needed to be informed about. And if not, he probably still needed to talk to all his advisors about Gojo and this possible acquisition.

He groaned before he got up and grabbed his shirt from off the floor before putting it on. It was all wrinkled and she stared at him in disbelief, "Is that seriously how you're going to meet with people?"

He shrugged, "What does it matter?"

She shook her head with an amused expression, "Well, at least, look presentable tonight."

"Yes, beautiful," he patronized with a little grin.

She gave him the middle finger and he laughed, "So crass."
