are yall even interested with how this story prgresses? i have up to 24 chapters on ao3 done for this book and ive been slowy trying to get them all down to wattpad, but let me know if you guys still want to see more on this story, if nt then ill robably just stop updating this book at least on wattpad, would contiune on ao3)

when Adora woke up again she could feel the warmth from the sun hitting her face and a loose grip on her hand. lifting her head slightly she could see catra on the floor, leaning against the couch still holding onto her hand. though the other woman's face was calm she knew the little dip between Catras brows, meaning she was worried. Swiftwind had his head in Catras lap, like he was helping comfort her, which brought a smile to Adoras face.

gently letting go of her friends- crush- hand, she removed the blanket to find the prosthetic not there, and with a swift look around the living room confirmed her fear. the legwas gone. her only way of walking was gone and she didn't have crutches nor a walker so she was stuck. her breathing picked up, and once she noticed she tried to calm it, to hopefully not wake her friend, with no luck. the more she tried to fight, the worst her breathing became until she was seeing spots in her vision.

suddenly feeling a wet nose press against her cheek, and a relaxing and familier weight in her lap, she latched on tightly, her breathing calming and her eyesight coming back to reveal a worried Catra and the white of Swift wind. "hey are you okay adora? i heard Swift wind whimper then he moved." taking a few seconds to regain her breath Adora nods slowly. "im okay catra.. jut went into panic mode..." Catra smiled sadly and nodded. "at leas you're okay, and sounding bet-"

a nock interrupted Catra and they both turned to look at the entrance just in time to see it swing open and Glimmer poke her head through. she smiled seeing them then disappeared only to reappear with bow right behind her. swift wind barks loudly and raced towards them happily gaining pets"you guys are awake! we decided to spend the day with you guys!" catra shook her head then laughed. "welcome you two haha, and sure. did you two eat yet or want some breakfast?"

"we can go for breakfast, bow dragged me out of bed and out the door before we were able to eat breakfast so we are both hungry." Glimmer said glaring playfully at her boyfriend who was still messing with Swift wind. rolling her eyes she tuned to see adora still on the couch watching them. she smiled gently, her smile growing when adora returned it. "glad to see your up and about adora! hows staying with Ctara? she annoying you yet?" glimmer said while a "hey!" came from the kitchen where Catra was cooking breakfast.

glimmer and adora shared a look and started laughing, bending over to catch their breaths. "ah well her snoring is something to get used to again, as well as her clinginess." adora said playfully, looking to the kitchen where she caught eye contact with Catra who just stuck out her tongue. Adora did it back causing both to start laughing. Glimmer smiled, seeing the Adora she remembered back in High school in the way she was acting now. Scanning her friend her smiled faltered slightly seeing the sump of her leg. before Adora could catch on glimmer shook her head and poked her. "hey cmon now, we all know her snoring isnt as bad as Bows, " "hey! i do not snore!" Bow said looking up from where he was messing with swift wind.

he walked over to the couch and leaned over the back, near his girlfriend smiling. "oh no, yours is way worse love, you can shake mountains!" gimmer said giggling, which caused Adoa to start herself. Catra smiled watching them happy Adora is smilig and even laughing like she used to. Catra had wanted to talk with Adora about the nightmare but that could wait until after their friends had left. for now Catra was happy to contiune making Adora smile, even at the cost of her diginity.
