The morning sun cast a warm glow through the windows of the royal dining room as Yuna sat with her parents, engaging in a casual breakfast.

The aroma of freshly prepared dishes filled the air, creating a serene atmosphere.

Yuna's mother, Queen Jihye, gently sipped her tea before addressing the topic that lingered in the air. "Yuna, my dear, have you considered the prospect of marriage?"

Yuna raised an eyebrow, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "Mother, you bring this up every so often. I'm only 23, and there's plenty of time for such matters."

Her mother, however, had someone specific in mind. "What about Choi San? He's a fine young man from a reputable family."

Yuna maintained her composure, her response measured. "San is indeed a respectable individual, but I'm in no rush for such decisions. Besides, he and I are good friends, nothing more."

Queen Jihye nodded, a hint of concern in her eyes. "I only want what's best for you, Yuna. Consider the future of our kingdom."

As the conversation unfolded, Queen Jihye decided to offer a piece of advice. "And one more thing, my dear. Never let your heart be swayed by the likes of Kim Hongjoong. Our families have a history, and it's best not to complicate matters with romantic entanglements."

Yuna, with an eyebrow raised due to disbelief, replied, "Mother, I assure you, I have no intentions of getting romantically involved with anyone, especially Hongjoong. I have more important matters to focus on."

Queen Jihye sighed, her expression softening. "I only wish to protect you from unnecessary complications, Yuna."

After the breakfast conversation, Yuna found herself lost in her thoughts.

The mere mention of Hongjoong's name brought back memories of their tumultuous high school days.

As she retreated to her room, Yuna couldn't shake off the unsettling feeling that accompanied the thought of being romantically involved with Hongjoong.

She scoffed to herself, finding the notion utterly absurd.

"Romantically involved with Kim Hongjoong? Oh please." The princess muttered under her breath.

In high school, Hongjoong was a constant rival, always eager to engage in heated arguments and unnecessary competitions.

Yuna, known for her sharp wit and determination, found herself entangled in a battle of wits with him.

Their exchanges were fueled by a mix of rivalry and a mutual desire to outshine each other.

The memories flashed before Yuna's eyes—each argument, every competition, and the countless times Hongjoong challenged her for reasons unbeknownst to her.

Their history was a tapestry of clashes, leaving a trail of unresolved tension.
