Chapter Ten || A sad begining to a happy story

"You dragged me out of bed at ten in the morning to drag me to Westwood?" I groaned at my mother as she drove.

"You should be up you have a meeting soon with your fathers lawyers" she barked.

"At two!" I shrieked clearly not a morning person.

She laughed at my annoyance then pulled into Kendall's condo building.

"Are we visiting Ken?" I asked as she pulled up to valet and we both got out.

"Not exactly" she smirked handing the valet boy her keys then walking over to me and walking me inside.

"Mrs. Rios" A bald man greeted us, he had on a nice suit and a rolex. "This must be Alyssa"

"This is" My mom beamed as she squeezed my arm. "Give us a second Kevin"

"Of course ma'am" Kevin nodded then wandered off as my mom turned to me.

"Why are we here?" I yawned bored with her games.

She beamed brightly and I knew it was a surprise that would benefit her more than me. "So you know the house I bought right?"

"The house that I've been decorating for the last two weeks? Yes I know it well" I sighed.

She rolled her eyes but still smiled through. "Well I was planning on letting you live there till I got back from New York but my job is too full time to be flying back and fourth so I sold the house"

"You did what?!" I snapped then it hit me.

"And I bought you a condo here!!!" She clapped then yanked me in a hug.

Emotional would be the best word to use at the moment but putting my emotions into words was the hardest thing to do at the moment as well.

"Mom" I said slowly as I pulled away.

"I know it's huge and I know it's sudden but all the furniture that you ordered for the house was brought to your new condo so it's all furnished and I leave tonight for New York so you can move in tonight" She beamed far more excited than I was.

"You bought me a condo so you could move to New York?" I asked and she frowned.

"Well don't put it like that honey" she giggled then waved Kevin over.

"Ready for the tour Mrs. Rios?" He asked and she nodded then dragged me along.

Westwood was the neighborhood to live on now. Calabasas was now for all the older celebrities who wanted to settle down and have kids but everyone who's under twenty-five lives in Westwood, Kendall and Pia Mia included. Justin but he moved to BH.

It's an amazing neighborhood and only minutes from West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, kinda far from Calabasas but nothing major.

There's everything to do over here and so much shopping and amazing restaurants it's literally the best place for a young adult to live especially if they want to you know be young and careless. The best place ever actually.

It's also a pro that Kendall lives in this condo building.

We took the elevator eleven floors up to my penthouse styled condo, just like Kendall's amazing condo which is on the tenth floor.

Kevin handed me a set of keys to open the white doors and I did hesitantly. When I pushed them opened I saw all the furniture I order for The Oaks house in my new condo.

"It's two bedrooms, two baths, full access to all amenities, and the best view of LA" Kevin beamed as we toured around.

The rooms were huge, the living room huge with large windows and a patio with the killer LA view, the kitchen perfect as ever and it was the most perfect place to live.
