Chapter Eighteen || Oh the places you'll go

"Do you want pancakes?" Spencer asked as I walked out my bathroom.

"Hi" I beamed as I rushed to Harry. "What are you doing here?"

"Spence invited us for breakfast" he chuckled against my ear.

"Us?" I said softly then noticed Anwar sitting on my couch. "Baby!"

"Hi princess" he cheesed waving at me.

"Alyssa" Spencer said but I just ignored him once again.

"It's so lovely out today and Miles is away in New York do you guys wanna spend the day with me?" I asked staring out my windows.

"That'd be great" Anwar smiled and Harry nodded in agreement.

"So no pancakes?" Spencer asked.

"I'm heading to breakfast with my parents but I will pick you guys up later" I said then strolled out gripping my Celine extra tight.

Yeah it was true. I was going to have brunch with my parents. Both of them. At the same time.

My mom called first, she's in town for a week and a half and offered breakfast at Toast then my dad called like right after and offered breakfast at the Beverly Hills hotel so I called her back and she basically invited herself.

I wasn't sure if holly was coming but my best bet was that she was, I think my parents are on good terms so it shouldn't be too crazy.

When I got to the hotel the old stuck up white people stared at me probably because what I was wearing.

I didn't have time to change so I slipped on Miles's shirt and wore it as a dress and then some van slip ons.

While I was walking towards my parents table someone grabbed my hand.

"Sofia" I beamed then leaned down and hugged my sister in law. Kidding.

"Hey what are you doing here?" She smiled as we pulled away.

"Meeting my parents for lunch" I said nodding towards the oddly silent table across the dining pavilion.

"Oh I thought that was them" she giggled then stood up. "I'll go say hi"

As we made our way over my parents face lit up while Holly just smiled like normal.

"Sofia!" My mom gasped then stood up and hugged the stunning Richie. "You've grown so much"

"It's so good to see you both again" Sofia giggled as she switched from my mom to my dad.

"Likewise sweetie, how's your old man?" My dad asked.

"He's great, he's in Europe right now and he's heading to Dubai soon so he wants to see you!" She assured my dad.

"Yeah he called, you guys should come down with him" He said glancing over at me.

"Sure" I shrugged then looked at Sof.

"Alright well I gotta get back to my friend but it was great seeing you guys again" Sofia said then squeezed my arm before walking off.

Once she was gone I kissed my mother cheek and hugged her, hugged my dad, smiled at Holly then sat down and opened the menu.

"How's the living arrangement?" My mother asked after the waiter left with out orders.

"It was going good till the other night, Spencer made some rude comments towards Miles" I sighed  laying my Celine in my lap and pulling out my phone.
