Chapter Eleven

Harry’s POV

I did’t know how long we have sat there. Jade had fallen asleep with her head on my chest, and I had just sat there and watched her. I was relieved she hadn’t got very angry, I mean, I had been dealing drugs for like half a year. It was over now. I didn’t have to deal the drugs anymore, because Mike was still in jail. But we still weren’t save. Jade still wasn’t save. I would have to protect her from what was going to happen. I didn’t know what was going to happen, but I was sure we were in danger now, more then we we’d been ever before…

Jade’s POV

I woke up and slowly opened my eyes. I was laying on the couch in Harry’s living room. I looked around. Harry wasn’t there. I wanted to get up, but exactly at that moment Harry came in with two cups of tea. “Goodmorning beautiful”, he said. “Goodmorning Harry”, I said, and I yawned. I was still tired from everything that happened the last day. Harry came back home, he explained everything; it was very much for me to cope with. But everything was alright now. Harry was back, so we could spend time together again. I smiled at him as he handed me my tea. “Thanks”, I said and I took a sip of the tea. “Harry?” “Yes, babe?” “I was thinking… Everything is alright now… Maybe you’d like to meet my parents?”, I asked. He looked at me surprised. “Really? You want me to meet your parents?”, he asked. “Yeah.. I mean.. I really love you, and yeah, I’m sure they’ll love you too…”, I responded. Harry smiled at me. “I’d love to meet your parents.”

(2 days later)

“Harry, calm down”, I said to him. He was constantly tapping on the steering wheel. “I’m sorry, I’m just very nervous”, he said, while frowning. “Don’t be, they’ll love you. And you know why? Cause I love you more than everything in the world, so they can’t not love you”, I said with a smile on my face. “I love you too”, Harry said, also smiling. We arrived at my parents house. As soon as I got out, my mom ran to me and gave me a tight hug. “Jade, darling, I missed you so much!!”, she said. I smiled. “I missed you too mom.” Then she looked at Harry. “Then you must be Harry”, she said to him with a smile on her face. “Yes, I am, it’s nice to meet you, mrs Winter”, Harry said shyly while he shook my mothers hand. “Please, call me Celine”, mom said to Harry. She then turned around. “Come in, and have some lunch”, she said before walking towards the front door. Harry and I followed her and I closed the door behind me. We walked to the living room. My father got up from the comfortable sofa he was sitting on. He gave me a quick hug. “I missed you, love.” “I missed you too dad”, I said. Then he turned to Harry. “Hello, I’m Harry”, he said nervously. My father shook his hand. “Hello Harry. I’m Kyle Winter”, my father said to him. Harry looked at him with an insecure look on his face. “Yes, she also told us about the drug dealing… But don’t worry, though. Jade explained to us what you have told her, so we know it wasn’t your fault”, my father said. He smiled at Harry. “Please, take a seat and have some lunch with us”, my mother said. Harry and I sat down. “Well, Harry. Tell something about yourself”, my father said, as we began to eat.

“See? They really like you”, I said to Harry as we walked back to the car. He smiled. “Yeah…” We got into the car. “Okay!! Where do you wanna go?”, Harry asked after a few minutes. “Ehm.. I don’t know, you choose”, I said. “Hmm, okay… Well, then it’s gonna be a surprise”, he said with a smirk on his face. The rest of the ride was very quiet. Only the music that was coming out of the little speakers was heard. Then we arrived at my house. “Okay, I’m gonna take you somewhere you don’t know, but I’m sure you’ll love it”, Harry said. He got out and walked around the car to open the passenger door. “Now get in and put on the dress I’ll pick for you.” “Okay…”, was all I said. I didn’t know what we were going to do or where we were going, but I’d just do what Harry said. We walked in and went upstairs. I was sat on my bed by Harry. “Wait here, I’ll pick a dress for you”, he said and he walked towards my wardrobe. I waited untill he found a dress. It was the strapless red one. I smiled at him and grabbed the dress out of his hands. He walked out of my room and I put on the dress. I also put on my black high heels with studs at the back. I brushed my hair and let it fall over my right shoulder. I also aplied some dark brown eye shadow and mascara. I walked downstairs. “Harry, I’m ready for your surprise!!”, I yelled. He didn’t answer. “Harry?!” Suddenly I felt someone grab my waist from behind. It was Harry. He put a towel in front of my eyes and knotted it at the back of my head. “Harry what are you doing?” “It’s a surprise, so I don’t want you to see where we go ‘till we get there”, Harry whispered in my ear. I smiled. Harry leaded me to the front door and outside, and closed the door behind him. He gently pushed me towards his car and sat me down. Then he closed the door and got in too. ‘This is gonna be fun’, I thought as he drove away.

“Are we already there?”, I asked for the fifth time this night. “No, not yet..”, he said. We walked a little longer. I was about to ask where we were going, when Harry untied the towel. “We’re here”, he said. I slowly opened my eyes. We were standing in front of the most luxurious restaurant of England. My jaw dropped. “You took me here?”, I asked. I looked at Harry. He nodded. “But it’s so expensive here…”, I said. “I don’t care, I’ll do everything to make my girl happy”, he said, and with that he wrapped his arm around my waist and gently pulled me towards the entrance of the restaurant.

Harry’s POV

This was perfect. Jade, me, here at this restaurant, talking, no worries. Just perfect. Jade and I talked a lot. Then a guy who was standing at the entrance took my attention. He was staring at us. Well, actually, he was staring at Jade. First I thought it was just a stranger, but then I recognised him. It was one of Mike’s ‘friends’.

Jade’s POV

“Ehm.. Jade.. We gotta go…”, Harry said. “What?”, I asked him. We were having such a great time. “What do you mean?” “We gotta go.. Now..”, he said again. He was looking at a spot behind me. I turned around to see what he was looking at. There was nothing. Just the entrance of the restaurant. I turned back to Harry, who already got up. “Harry, what are you doing, we are having such a good time…”, I said confused. He didn’t say anything. He gently took my wrist and pulled me up. “Harry…” “Jade, trust me, we have to leave..”, he said, and pulled me towards the entrance. “Harry, what are you doing?”, I asked again. “Protecting you…”
