"You're back?" Nat asked as she walked into the house. I looked up from my spot on the couch. She gave me a look when she realized I was cuddled into Jay, practically in his lap. I looked down as a thought hit me. I didn't have anywhere else to be.

"You got a problem with that?" Jay asked.

"No." Nat replied like she was offended he'd asked. "I'm just surprised." She mumbled. I sent Jay a look as she walked away. He just shrugged and pulled me back into his chest.

"Hey." Pam smiled when she walked in and saw me on the couch.

"Hey, Mom." Trinity yelled.

"Hey Aunt Pam." A few other voices yelled. She just smiled and shook her head.

"Aunt Pam, you will never believe what Jay did today." Ross said walking into the room.

"And what did he do?" She asked going into Mom mode as Jay rolled his eyes.

"He bought every girl in the school a flower." Ross told her. She looked at Jay surprised.

"He what?" She asked.

"I got twelve." I told her. She just looked between everybody.

"The garden club was selling them to raise money for Brad and his sister." Jay explained. Mama Pam nodded.

"That was nice of you." She whispered. Jay ducked his head causing his siblings and cousins to laugh.

"We leave about six." Mama Pam said before leaving the room. I smiled and kissed Jay's red cheek causing him to smile.

Jay threw his arm around my shoulder as we walked towards the football field. "So, is Day any good?" I asked. Jay looked down with a smile.

"I'd hope so if they made him captain. I wouldn't want a sucky player as my captain." He replied. I just shrugged.

"I'm sure it's happened before." I mumbled causing Jay to chuckle. I couldn't help but smile. My smile dropped when my eyes landed on someone standing by the front gates looking around.

"You okay?" Jay asked. I'd frozen. I gave him a fake smile.

"Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't I be?" I asked. Jay gave me a look.

"There you are." Someone said. I closed my eyes. I knew that voice.

"What, Jake?" I asked with a tired sigh.

"I went by Marcy's. She said you weren't staying with her." He replied. I sighed again then glanced at Jay. He was looking at Jake with narrowed eyes. "If you're not staying with Marcy, where are you staying?" He asked.

"With me." Jay replied before I could think of an answer. Jake finally looked at Jay.

"Oh." Jake whispered as the person I'd seen first walked over. Well, wobbled over.

"Blaire." She started as I shook my head.

"I don't want to hear it, Makenna." I whispered.

"You two need to talk and work this out. You need to get over it." Jake snapped. I glared at him.

"How can you even say that? You don't know what happened." I yelled as tears filled my eyes.

"Then tell me." Jake whispered.

"I backed off of you because she told me she liked you. She told me that she was in love with you. That's why I turned your dates down. I backed off so she could be with the guy she supposedly loved. I did like you, a lot. But I got over it and started dating John. Just for her to go after him as well. But this time, she didn't tell me first. She just slept with him." I looked at her with disgust. "I have nothing to say to her." I snapped at Jake. Jake just blinked at me.
