******* This chapter has a summarized version of the content warnings in chapters 6 and 7. I'll put a warning before that part. *******

"You okay?" Day asked when he noticed I was just pushing my food around. I looked around the table. Everybody was looking at me.
"Yesterday was an emotional rollercoaster." I mumbled.
"Did you punch somebody?" Tate nodded at my hand. I looked down to see the bruises.
"Yeah, found out something yesterday, I punched the guy, then found out he was just trying to upset me." I replied.
"Did you punch the same guy?" Nat asked looking at Jay. I looked at Jay's hand to see it bruised as well.
"Yeah, before she did actually." He smiled down at me.
"What happened yesterday?" Ross asked. I looked around the table then paused on Jay. He shrugged.
"Your secret. If you want them to know, then you tell them. You can trust them." He whispered. I nodded.

"Two years ago, this guy got me drunk then took pictures of me that ended up on the internet. I spent all year thinking I'd given him a blow job. Yesterday, we saw him, Jay punched him, then he implied that we had sex. I punched him. I went to my brother's apartment and cried. Beck came home and told me that it wasn't true. All that guy got was the pictures. His brother had stopped him before anything else could happen." I explained.

"It was that guy from the diner. The one Beck was talking to, wasn't it?" Nat asked. I nodded.
"I hope you got him good." Day snapped.
"I got him kicked off the baseball team and kicked out of his college a few weeks ago." I admitted.
"Do you still want to go out later?" Nat asked. I gave her a look.
"Of course I do. Mark got me kicked out of the band, ruined the little relationship I had with my mom, and turned everybody against me. If I wasn't so good at soccer, I wouldn't have even made the team because of him. I'm not going to let him ruin anything else. We're going out later." I replied. Everybody just looked at me. Jay kissed the side of my head.
"Let's go get dressed. We've got somewhere to be." He whispered. I glanced at him. We were going to eat lunch then meet up with everybody else to watch a movie. What else were we going to do?

I gave Jay a look as we walked into the animal Shelter. "I volunteer here on the weekends. I figured you wouldn't mind." He explained. I looked around.
"You volunteer?" I asked. He chuckled as he nodded.
"Is that so hard to believe?" I shook my head.
"Oh, Jay, you're here. When you missed yesterday, I wasn't expecting you." Some lady said as she walked into the room we were in. She gave me a look.
