I stopped Jay outside of his room. He looked at me with furrowed eyebrows. "I think I'm gonna stay with Nat tonight." I whispered. He looked at me in concern.
"Have I done something wrong?" I smiled and shook my head.
"No, you've been perfect. I think I just need a little girl's time. I've spent a lot of time with you since coming here. I don't want the others to feel like I've abandoned them or something. They're still my friends and I'd like them to stay that way." I explained. Jay nodded with a small smile on his face.
"Okay, you're right. Tate's been wanting to do something with the guys, but I've been pushing it off. I'll see you tomorrow." He whispered. I put my hands on his shoulders then stood on my tiptoes to kiss him. His hands gripped my waist as he kissed back.
"Get a room." Nat mumbled as she walked past us. I pulled away.
"Actually, I was wondering if it'd be okay if I spent the night with you." I told her. She looked between us then nodded. "Don't worry. We're fine. I just wanted to spend time with you." I assured her.
I laid back on Nat's bed. "So, why did you want to sleep in here?" She asked. I glanced towards her. She'd gone into the bathroom to change but had left the door open so we could talk.
"I just think Jay and I have spent a lot of time together lately. I don't want you to feel like I'm choosing him or something. You're still my friend." I explained. She smiled as she walked out of the bathroom. "Plus, I need some girl time." I added.
"Me too. There are too many guys in this house." She agreed. "We should get all the girls together one day soon." She added as she sat down beside me. She eyed my clothes. "Are you going to be comfortable?" She asked, motioning at my clothes. I bit my lip.
"I'll be right back." I mumbled sliding off her bed and leaving the room.
I could hear laughter coming from Jay's room as I knocked on the door. Jay blinked at me as he opened it. "Can I have a shirt?" I asked. He smiled as he stepped back.
"Hey, Blaire." Day yelled. I waved at him.
"Do we need to leave?" Tate asked. I shook my head.
"No, I just need a shirt." I replied as Jay returned with a shirt. I pressed a kiss to his cheek then turned away. I heard the door shut behind me then felt hands grab my waist.
"You didn't really think I'd let you get away with just a kiss on the cheek, did you?" Jay whispered in my ear. I shivered as his breath fanned my neck.
"You should go back to your room." I mumbled.
"I will in a minute." He turned me so I was facing him. "After I kiss you." He added before kissing me. I wrapped my hands around his neck pulling him closer.
"Jay." Someone whined. We pulled away to see Canton giving us a look. "You're in the hallway." He pointed out.
"I was just telling her goodnight." Jay mumbled. Canton looked like he didn't believe his cousin.
"I'll see you tomorrow." I whispered before going back to Nat's room.
I leaned back against the door and sighed. "What happened?" Nat asked. I sent her a look.
"Your cousin wasn't satisfied with just a kiss on the cheek." I mumbled going to her bathroom. I left the door open as I changed.
"Let's have some girl talk." She ordered.
