a gentleman
walking by
taking off his hat
hes got pretty eyes

the lady nodding
greeting him back
as he continued
walking his track

the next morning
same park same time
the man walked by
but lost a dime

the lady picked it up
so the ducks wouldn't eat
she put it in her pocket
and kept spreading their treats

the day after
the man didn't arrive
the lady grew worry
but she kept the drive

another day went by
the lady had his dime
but one day the man
came back from his crimes

the lady held him back
"Excuse me to hold your time"
the man turned around
and she gave him back the dime
