they will not
understand
those who don't read
won't comprehend
how free it felt
to let go of words
whether they hurt
or mean worlds
and once you cut
someone you didn't know
bowed to you
in defenses claw
how less you felt
how they saw you
or what you held
of what they do
if you hold me for
someone to hurt you
it won't only do that
but cut me too
