I have no idea how much time has passed since we've gotten here, but I can tell it has to be an ungodly hour by just how badly my eyes are begging to shut.

I had found Jolly, Nick, and Folio all standing in the living room together and joined them while they talked to the people around them about stuff that made no sense to me. Noah wasn't in the little group so I figured he was avoiding me or busy with someone else.

Eventually Alex and Amelia found me a not too long after I had weaseled my way into a makeshift beer pong game set up on the dinning room table that had been brought into the living room.

I was losing by a mile.

They convinced me back to dance around with them in a small circle off to the side of the living room, taking turns going in the middle and showing off our dance moves that will definitely make us cringe in the morning. If we even remember it.

I've only caught sight of Noah once since Alex kissed me and he didn't look happy to see me, so I tried to forget about him the best I could. I already had too much to think about with what I was potentially doing to Amelia.

We took a ton of pictures as we laughed and moved around the room, most of which I'm sure will be blurry and barely visible tomorrow but they both post them on their stories anyway. I can't have any Social Media accounts, so I just keep them in my camera roll.

I don't try to hang on Alex anymore, never daring to do anything more than look his way when he spoke to me. I don't know how I didn't pick up on how Amelia looked at him before, or how he may be looking at her.

Alex, Amelia and I then take a group picture that I'll definitely be printing out to post on my photo wall in my bedroom later before I let out a big yawn and decide I just can't take it anymore.

"You need me to take you home?"

Alex whispers in my ear suddenly, making me jerk my head back. I wave him off and try to steady myself as much as possible.

"No that's okay, it's only a 5 minute walk and I don't want to make you guys leave too. I can tell you guys are having a good time. I need the air anyways, call me when you guys get home though."

Amelia is so drunk she probably has no idea what I just said but she leans in to kiss my cheek and smile at me anyway. Alex is apprehensive but I reassure him I'll be fine and my little buzz had already started to fade. He eventually nods and lets me slide out of their grasp.

I wasn't really lying about needing the air, I was started to feel choked in the stuffy room but I also just really needed a second to figure out what the fuck I'm doing.

I feel around in my back pocket to make sure I still have my house keys with me since I have no idea if Noah is home yet or not and go back to where Jolly and Nick have been sitting.

"Have you guys seen Noah?"

They both shake their heads at me and I sigh, "okay well, I'm going home if he ask about me or anything."

They say their goodbyes and let me know they'll probably be over tomorrow and I leave towards the front door.

I step out onto the front porch and close my eyes, taking a deep breath as the cold air pools around me.

"Seemed like you were having fun in there."

I twist my neck to look towards the voice, finding Noah sitting alone on the old porch swing with the red light of a joint hanging from his lips and his arm draped across the back.

"I thought you had quit smoking."

That's probably not the most important thing to be worried about but I haven't seen him smoke anything in a very long time.
