Chapter : 16 {Childhood}

"What now?" Asked Marco as he was sitting in Ace's bed

Ace was laying, thinking deep about something

"What what?" Asked Ace

"If Aoto is back, aren't you worried about your Y/n??" Asked Marco curious

"...... " Ace was quite, he didn't knew what to do, he knows, Aoto being well and coming back to the crew is a good news..........but he can't help but hate Aoto..... After he saw how much his love yearned for Aoto... Of course he can't take that!

"I am rooting for you tho" Said Marco with a smirk

"Marco... Tell me more about Y/n and Aoto.... And everything.....Please... " Said Ace as he looked straight into Marco's eyes

*Flashback*

"AOTOO LOOK! I CAN NOW FLY FOR AS LONG AS I WANT!!" Shouted small Y/n

"Blehhh it's just because Roger taught you" He teased her

"At least I can talk to animals" Replied Aoto

"At least I can beat up Marco!"

"Okay okay kids, now go to your rooms!" I shouted at the two, it was somehow always my job to babysit them...

"Huh where is Aoto?" I asked a crewmate

"I saw him with Y/n" Said the crewmate

"Of course" I sighed and found them Sleeping peacefully together

... Days passed happily, soon, it was time for the Pirate King's execution, Y/n wasn't quite happy about it...

"Y/N! STOP!" Scolded Captain

"ALL OF YOU ARE COWARDS HERE! HOW THE FUCK CAN THEY GET THE COURAGE TO HARM ROGER?????" She shouted

I sighed

"Y/n....roger didn't got caught, he just retired on his own and planned to end his legacy this way... " I explained but it was a hard day for her

"There is Nothing to save, he doesn't want to be saved.... If be did.....Then his own crew would have been enough"

"HUH? THEY ARE GOING AFTER HIS WIFE AND CHILD??" shouted Whitebeard

"Those cowards... To think they are so afraid of a bloodline... To even not spare a mere child.... " He said pissed

"Marco! We should go bring his wife and son to our ship!" Whitebeard commanded but soon we received a letter from Ace's mom, Rogue

"Brother,how are you doing? I am already on my death bed as I am writing this, me and roger had a son, Ace,he is already 2 now, he is with grap, Roger trusted grap and wanted his help in hiding Ace.... I don't know what is to come into this child's future..... But all I know is, he, for sure, will get involved in all this someday....... If a time comes, where he needs help.... As my last wish, I beg of you, consider this my last wish to my elder sister's husband, and my late husband's close friend... Please, make sure my child is safe...

We didn't pursue for Ace any more as we knew grap was keeping him safe

Everything was going as usual again, except when captain got worried about Y/n's safety...

The navy did knew about Y/n, that she stays in our crew, but they didn't knew that child is Whitebeard's and so powerful..

They thought she is just another orphan we picked up

Captain also let everyone except the crew assume that, so that Y/n is safe and protected

One day, like any other, Me Aoto and Y/n went for grocery shopping, I left the both of them Outside before entering a store like always... When I came, both of them were long gone

We soon found them, a strong pirate named Black tooth had caught them to give them to the navy.... For some reasons they knew about Y/n's identity.....now that I think of it maybe teach did something.....

Scary part? When we found them the whole pirate crew was already dead

Scarier part? Y/n was unconscious

Aoto had blood all over his body.... And two wolves with him...

Aoto killed them off, and protected Y/n as long as he could

The moment he saw us he falled to the ground with a grin on his little face

"Now I can sleep" He said as he falled deep into his sleep...

Maybe that's where their relationship got serious?

Whitebeard, being a loving dad, decided, just like Rogue and Roger, he will keep his Daughter's identity a secret too...

Whitebeard searched all the seas and finally found a man with the dream dream devil fruit, that man used his powers to make everyone who knew about Y/n's identity forget about her just like a dream....

Thus, Y/n was removed from the public and the crew's eyes.

Me, Pops amd Aoto, were the only ones who knew about her, except a nurse and a doctor haha

"Ohhh" Said Ace

"Are you sad--" Before Marco could finish his question Ace cut him off

"Y/n must have suffered a lot" Said Ace in a sad tone

Marco was shocked, especially when Y/n and Aoto had serious Jealousy problems in their past relationship, on the other hand, Ace seem to care about Y/n more than her being in a relationship with another guy before

"Ace, you are a good guy" Said Marco

"Huh?? Even Y/n said so, what's with all this compliment" Said Ace confused

"Aahaaha, but Aren't you jealous of Aoto?" Asked Marco curious

"Of course I AM! I WANT TO KILL THAT BASTARD AND BURN HIM TO HIS CORE IF IT WASN'T FOR Y/N!!!" cursed Ace

..... I see, Ace is also jealous, but he won't trouble Y/n for his jealousy, unlike Aoto...
