Kosmo had managed to track down the man that was following after you, pinpointing it as this was indeed the shadow following. Taking soaking up your new current surroundings it being a pure dump, supposedly this man was the one that had sent out the distress signal. Not Kolivan.
Astraea plops her hands on her hips whilst your arms crossed over your chest. A standard unique look coming from the both of you. During your time at Galaxy Garrison when standing around you'd have your arms crossed and Astraea's hands on her hips. Sadly you wished you could've made upgrades to your white paladin armor to keep your sword on you but since the paladin armor only called the bayard forward, you had to keep it in dagger mode.
Watching as the man dumped a bunch of fuel into the growing fire.
Romella couldn't help herself but to comment, "This place is disgusting."
"I have called this place home for the past two deca-phoebs." Macidus says.
"Oh well "disgusting" is Altean for "lovely." She corrects herself. "You don't speak Altean do you?"
Looming over Pidge's shoulder, you listen as she hums out, "This is where the signal was coming from. Somewhere below us."
"You are clever," Macidus compliments. "But I wouldn't expect any less from the Paladins of Voltron."
Narrowing your eyes at the person before you, you didn't trust him. Even your own shadows seemed to whisper harsh things about them. Lance raises an eyebrow, lowering his rifle, "You recognized us?"
Hand slipping behind you, you grab a hold of your Kaltea blade, pulling it out. The double-sided dagger instantly formed into a double-sided sword. Sticking the tip of a blade into the ground. Shadows of tentacles splurging out from behind you.
Astraea, one step behind you, grabs a hold of her own blade, forming it into a sword of its own. Even as the man rolls his neck, humming out, "Of course, of course. Though, I am surprised to see you. All were certain you perished."
"Yeah we just found that out. But we're back." Lance kept going on.
"And I am so grateful that you are." Macidus comes to state truthfully. "It's been so long since I've had...guests."
"Well thank you," Shiro raises a hand towards the two girls. "For your hospitality, but who are you? And what happened here?"
"Bloodshed happened here." Following Krolia's eyes, both sisters from other bloodlines watch her, followed after her. "Death happened here." Going as far as looking behind ripped curtains.
Eyes widening like saucers. Macidus was right, death happened here. But not for the reason everyone was thinking. He had killed what looked to be millions of Blades. Krolia looks over her shoulder down at the two girls that had one of their hearts set within the program that saved her life and kept her going whilst the other's father was in it.
Truth be told she had never seen either anger. Bitter, yes. But never angry. Now it made sense why they were so compatible, why they went hand in hand. Why they were Carnage and Violence. Staring into their eyes there looked to be that look all children have when it came to the world that stripped them of absolute everything. She could see Astraea's jaw clicking shut, clenching grinding teeth upon teeth. Her anger you saw. It was the kind of anger that was expressed loudly. It's what came with such a title of Carnage. As for her friend...as for you...your anger was loud, yes. However it was silent, deadly. Your body didn't show, didn't reveal such things, it was only the energy around that seemed to fill everyone in.
