We are starting with a flashback with a child Hiccup and with a younger Stoick.

///The starting part of this is from a clip of the movie but as always I have the scene down below if you just want to read it. Here is the video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug8O0cn5cQs Start at 3:28 and go until 4:51 I don't think I changed much to be honest and trust me the story does change there are just some good starting clips anyway back to the story///

Stoick: Hiccup, (A younger Stoick has a young Hiccup in his arm as they look into the sunset and as they have a good view of the ocean and the buildings of Berk) This is Berk son, its our home. It was the home of your grandparents and their grandparents before them. And its my job as chief to protect us Hiccup. And one day when your all grown up that job will be passed on to you (as he points to Hiccup and then drops his hand)

Young Hiccup: (whispering) Okay.

Stoick: And its very important son because out there (points to the sunset) beyond the sunset (drops his hand) lies the home of the dragons.

Young Hiccup: Wow!

Stoick: Aye. Legends tell of ships that sailed to close to it only to drop off the edge of the world, never to be seen again. (Young Hiccup Gasps) But those sailors who turned back, tell tales of great waterfalls and dragons guarding the entrance to a hidden world.

Young Hiccup: Wow.

Stoick: Not just a nest Hiccup, but a land from which all dragons come.

Young Hiccup: Even...Even nightfuries?

Stoick: (chuckles) Especially nightfuries.

Young Hiccup: Those are scary.

Stoick: Don't you worry. One day I'll find the hidden world and seal it up. So that people and dragons will fight no more.

///End of clip make sure you stopped at 4:51 on the video. Any-who enjoy the story///

End of Hiccup's flashback.

Hiccup is standing on the same cliff where he once stood with his father and then he sits down and seems to be looking for something on his map. Toothless is playing with the baby and keeping him occupied however it is clear that he wants to help Hiccup with his map. Toothless fails to keep the baby nightfury busy and it goes to bite Hiccup but it ends up grabbing his prosthetic leg.

Hiccup: (chuckles) Alright here. (he detaches his leg and waves it in front of the baby and throws it to a safe area where he won't fall off) (then he turns to Toothless) Make sure he doesn't lose it, I kind of need it. (Toothless laughs and then follows where the baby went)

As Hiccup continues to try and find where the hidden world might be, Astrid riding on Stormfly comes and lands behind him then walks up next to him before sitting down.

Astrid: So this is where you've been since lunch. (baby nightfury brings her Hiccup's, now slimy, leg to Astrid, disgusted and confused she throws it and the baby races after it with Toothless and Stormfly following it) Got a name for the baby yet? (she gestures to the little black dragon who is now playing a three way tug of war with Toothless, and Stormfly who are clearly not trying to hard to win)

Hiccup: Only one name has really comes to mind.

Astrid: What's that?

Hiccup: Chomper.

Both laugh for a little bit.

Hiccup: I was also thinking Dusk was a good name.

Astrid: I like that name for him.

Hiccup continues to stare intensely at his map.

Astrid: Where are we putting this new batch of rescues Hiccup we can't keep them here and the surrounding islands are out of balance and overrun with our previous rescues.

Hiccup: I know. I have come up with something. But I've only come up with two possible solutions. One: we could try to find the original homes from which they were taken from, but Thor knows how long that could take.

Astrid: And the other?

Hiccup: (wincing a little as he looks at Astrid) We search for the Hidden World.

Astrid: Isn't that a myth?

Hiccup: I don't know. My father seemed to believe it he had heard the stories from sailors.

Astrid: Yes, but sailors have been known to exaggerate their tales.

Hiccup: (nods) I know but right now I can't think of another option. We have to find it.

Astrid: (looks dismayed) But Hiccup, you can't seriously be thinking about leaving  Berk alone for who knows how long to look for a land we don't even know if it exists.

Hiccup: (looks back at Toothless who is jumping and gliding as he jumps into the wind and Dusk seems to be trying the same thing however not as successful) No, I know Berk needs me. I plan to send Fishlegs, Eret, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, Snotlout, my mom, and possibly you, to go in a bunch of different directions for a four day trip two days out two days to return but pack a little extra food just in case.

Astrid: Well, change your plan cause I am staying with you.

Hiccup: Alright-

Just then Dusk slipped on the rock while attempting a flight and is falling down below. Toothless immediately jumps off the edge and Hiccup hobbles over to his leg reattaches it and carefully starts to slide down the mountain until Stormfly grabs him carefully and brings him down to the ground where once Stormfly lets go of Hiccup. He follows Toothless's tracks and Astrid hops off Stormfly to follow Hiccup. Hiccup sees Toothless in a forest of ferns looking frantically for Dusk. Hiccup gets next to a tree that is kind of on a little hill and is able to spot the little dragon. Hiccup is able to quietly get Toothless's attention and point to where Dusk was. Toothless starts to slowly stalk up to him (Dusk) when his (Toothless) head shoots up and he looks around his eyes go to slits.

Hiccup: What's the matter Toothless?

Toothless shoots a plasma blast at the ground while lunging for Dusk who was about to walk into a big trap that snapped shut as soon as Toothless had shot at it. Toothless gets up looking a little annoyed and glares back at Hiccup who just shrugs and Hiccup then walks over to them.

Hiccup: Good eye there bud. (Hiccup says as he gives him a little head scratch, then he looks down to see that Dusk is a little shaken but not hurt) (Hiccup then notices a shiny dart in the grass and picks it up)

Astrid: (disgusted) Dragon hunters.

Hiccup: I'm not so sure Astrid I have never seen a dragon hunter use this kind of dart before. But to be sure lets head to Eret.

There is a rustle in the bushes that both Hiccup and Astrid seem oblivious to but Toothless realizes it and curiously sniffs. Astrid and Hiccup fly over to a shop in which they know they can find Eret. As they leave, a pair of light purple eyes watches them and then the eyes disappear into the forest again.

///You know the drill I have everything written down but if you wish to watch it instead here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7m4zVvhGXIg from the beginning to 0:36 this is a short one.///

Hiccup and Astrid arrive and find Eret doing his job. Hiccup walks up and asks him if he knows anything about the trap and dart that they found in the woods.

Eret son of Eret: (picks up the dart and examines it) I know this handy work. Grimmel the Grisly. Famous back where I'm from. Smartest dragon hunter I even met. Well, next to me of course.

Hiccup: Well he can't be that smart. He left his trap unmanned.

Eret: (gives a weak and nervous laugh) Nothing is accidental when it comes to old Grimmel. (he is now facing Toothless who is pretending not to hear and is looking anywhere but at them) He lives for the hunt. To get inside the mind of his prey to control its every choice. Its all a game to him.

Astrid: Well, he doesn't know who he's playing with.

Hiccup: Yeah, and we've dealt with this kind before.

Eret: Don't underestimate him Hiccup. Mark my words, he'll be back.

Hiccup: Then we'll be waiting for him.
