How to Train your dragon 3: A Nightfury's Loyalty

The Hidden World

Fishlegs, Astrid, Hiccup: (in awe) Wow! (and all scream a little as their dragons dive into the hole)

As they enter Fireworms fly from behind them and glowing seashockers can be seen below them as Stormfly passes by some dragon eggs in a nest the eggs light up and partially show the baby dragons within them. They enter the area where Toothless and Dusk had entered before with the glowing rock, but this time the titan wing nightfury was not there. The dragon riders land their dragons on some sand nearby. As they look around Hiccup sees sand wraiths pop out of the sand near the water and they also see shy Tide Gliders poking their heads out of the water. The group stays together and explores a little bit when they climb to a higher place and notice a clearing that has nightfuries in it. Hiccup immediately gets excited and rushes off to get a closer look but makes sure that he is not close enough to be noticed and to startle the dragons. Toothless follows Hiccup with Fishlegs and Astrid close behind, they also stop where Hiccup stopped so that they can get a good look at the dragons. There were no more than nine nightfuries present there, but most if not all were fully grown. Some had more unique markings than others as one had little white speckles on it that made it look like the night sky while another one had red eyes and some slight grey marking on its ears. Hiccup was delighted that Toothless and Dusk were not the only ones left, Grimmel hadn't done what he thought he had accomplished. Dusk also saw these nightfuries and thought that it was a good idea to go and say hello, so he went. Hiccup although at first tried to grab him before he dived out of the bushes, stopped as soon as he left. Fishlegs and Astrid seemed ready to fish him out but Hiccup held up his hand to tell them to wait. After doing this he received their puzzled looks.

Hiccup: (whispering) I don't know what they will do if they see me, for all I know I could be killed on spot and this could ruin Dusk's chance of getting into their pack and that could help us out because he can safely live here without being in danger of Grimmel. I just hope my scent does not give him away. (Toothless had his eyes trained on Dusk in case anything bad happened).

Dusk trotted up to a couple of the nightfuries and was quite friendly to them, they did not seem to care or to be that interested in him, but they also did not seem to dislike him or show any aggression towards him. Then the titan wing nightfury came along (Toothless tensed up upon seeing him). The titan wing looked down at Dusk and did not seem to mind his company, it was only until the great dragon sniffed Dusk, then his eyes became slits and roared a great big roar. Toothless jumped into action immediately, but Hiccup again kept everyone back saying that maybe Toothless would be able to get out of the situation without fighting. Although the titan wing had already charged up a plasma blast at the scared Dusk, he was so taken aback by Toothless's swiftness and quickness to cover up Dusk and come to his aid that his fire fizzled out. Shocked that dragon would question his authority. He tried to intimidate Toothless but Toothless looked at him with a neutral expression and eventually Dusk ran off to Hiccup which the titan wing could not see nor smell where Hiccup was. Toothless followed slowly after in a way submitting to the scar faced titan wing which seemed to please him so he did not go after Toothless or Dusk. The group carefully and quietly made their way back to where Meatlug was with Fishmeat and Stormfly.

Hiccup: Fishlegs, do you mind taking care of Dusk for a while, so that me and Astrid can explore?

Fishlegs: Not at all Hiccup. In fact, it would be good for both Dusk and Fishmeat to play with each other as they can wear each other out. Meanwhile, I'll be taking notes on some of the species that live here as well as the plants.

Hiccup: So who will be watching the two trouble makers?

Fishlegs: Well, I'm pretty sure Meatlug and Stormfly have experience with keeping little trouble-makers inline.

Hiccup: Okay. As long as they are being watched. 

Hiccup, Astrid, and Toothless start trekking around the place when a dragon ends up rustling in the bushes and a white nightfury with light purple eyes slides out. While the bushes had been rustling Astrid and Hiccup had scrambled behind one of the giant mushrooms. Astrid then turned to see Stormfly and Meatlug chasing down Dusk and Fishmeat who are playfully chasing each other.
