She couldn't believe what she had done.

Why had she never fought hard enough to protect those she loved? They only suffered because of her. First, several lost their lives, and now more lost their shelter.

She didn't deserve those people.

She was the only person to whom Usain confessed Sedona's secret, and now she just handed it over to the Invicta Being. If the rebels from Florence were at the secret base, and Darksen showed up there, her guardian would know who had betrayed them.

If she ever managed to escape from that place, she would have nowhere to go.

She fished another burnt branch out of the fountain and threw it into the already full basket. She had been sitting in the garden since Darksen sent her there. She had no idea what time it was or how much time she had already spent in the half-burned park. People were hanging around right next to her, trying to restore the garden. They were talking among themselves, even talking to Fairlight, but she had a complete blank in her mind.

Who was she if she was fighting against Invicta, but at the same time letting down the people she stood by?
