6 - Lag

[ He quickly gets up, checking the time, it's 2 p.m. He quickly gets out of bed, when he enters the kitchen he sees a complete stranger in company uniform.

He has curly brown hair that goes to his shoulders, and a brown goatee. His brown eyes catch Schlatt.

Schlatt: Who the fuck are you?!

Justin: Justin! I'm Justin! They said you would probably be asleep until they came back-

Schlatt: They? Where's Pandah and Mika?

Justin: They are at the building looking for their friend.

Schlatt: Aztro. Okay.

Justin: Your friends saved me.

Schlatt: What?

Justin: They got the mask off of me. I don't know how long it had me gone but..

[ Schlatt looks down at the guy then picks up a radio turning it on. ]

[ Earlier. ]

Mika: . . . Let's go.

[ The two make their way to the building, Mika keeps his location watch on to track Aztro. ]

Pandah: What level is she on?

Mika: The bottom.

Pandah: . . . Mika-

[ Mika turns to Pandah in question. ]

Pandah: What if-

[ Suddenly Pandah gets tackled down by someone, he looks up and it's someone with curly brown hair and the same mask Aztro fell to.

Mika immediately tackles the person down off of Pandah, pinning them down. ]

Mika: Pandah the mask!

[ Pandah rushes crashing his fist into the mask, when he takes his hand back the mask is broken, eyes no longer glowing red but shows the person's eyes, closed.

Mika hesitatingly goes to take off the mask, and is able to without hurting the person.

He tosses it to the side then gets off them. They have a brown goatee, their brown hair goes about to their shoulders. ]

Pandah: Is he dead?

Mika: Uhm..

[ Mika check for a pulse. ]

Mika: He's alive.

[ Silence. Pandah stands up and starts to circle the two on the ground. ]

Pandah: . . . WHAT THE FUCK DO WE DO?!

[ Mika jumps at the sudden burst and looks at Pandah. ]

Pandah: We have found probably all the missing persons, that means there are way more of these masks things, and that means it will be harder to get Aztro!

[ Mika gets up and puts his hands on Pandah's tense shoulders. ]

Mika: Take a breath.

[ Pandah does so. ]

Mika: I don't think every missing person is here, the building was very quiet when we first arrived, I think if they all were here, we would uh.. know. Let's take this person back to the ship and-

[ There's a gasp. The two turn and see the person sat up looking around frantically.

He spots the mask and shuffles away from it in fear. ]

Mika: Whoa whoa whoa- calm it-

[ Mika goes to him and he looks up at him, an unreadable expression on his face. ]

Mika: It's okay, it's okay.

[ Mika sits next to him. ]

Mika: I'm Mika, that's Pandah. Do you remember your name?

Justin: Justin.. Justinbutlag..

Mika: That's good! Are you in any pain?

[ He shakes his head no. ]

Pandah: We should take him back to the ship..

[ Justin looks at Pandah. ]

Justin: I know you..

Pandah: Huh?

Mika: You know Pandah?

Justin: Yeah.. yeah my captain he uh had a picture of him.. but like he would talk so much shit about him.. something about how he got another coworker ki-

Pandah: Okay-! We aren't going to talk about that anymore because we need to go.

Mika: Right we're wasting time.

[ Justin is a bit confused as Mika stands up then offers a hand. He takes it getting up as they start to walk. ]

Mika: Let's get you back to the ship so you can eat and drink, Schlatt, our co pilot got that sand fever so he will probably be asleep until we get back.

Justin: Get back from where..? You aren't going in the building right?!

Pandah: Yeah we are.

Justin: You can't! There's that mask person there- they will try to-

Mika: Justin. One of our friends got taken over by a mask, and we don't plan on leaving without her. We were able to get you free, maybe we can get others too.

Justin: . . . I don't know how many there are but I know of one, because they got me. All I know is that they're a dog hybrid, with blonde hair.

Mika: . . . Right.

Pandah: Isn't that the one you stabbed the other night?

Justin: You stabbed him?!

Mika: It wasn't like on purpose! He got me down.

Justin: Oh god..

Mika: Why? Is it bad that I stabbed him?

Justin: He's going to target you and only you. When I first encountered him, I threw a punch and ran away. But when he tracked me to my team, he only went after me. After that.. I can't remember..

Pandah: Well I have this so-

[ Pandah holds up the gun as he stands on the deck of the ship. ]

Justin: They gave you guys guns for this?!

Mika: Uhm... no..

Pandah: Let's say we have a few friends that.. haha yeah.

Justin: Illegally?!

Mika: Anyways, downstairs we have food, everything for a shower, just don't wake up Schlatt.

[ Justin nods still thinking about the gun. ]

Justin: Uh-

[ Pandah and Mika look at him waiting. ]

Justin: Thank you.

Pandah: Yeah you better thank us you almost killed me.

[ Mika hits the back of Pandah's head. ]

Mika: Ignore him, and don't thank us. See ya.

[ Justin watches the two leave, then he goes downstairs. ]

[ The two stand outside the door. ]

Pandah: She still at the bottom?

Mika: Yeah.

[ Even though they are right there, they don't open the door. ]

Mika: You were gonna say something before the whole Justin thing happened.. what was it?

Pandah: I.. Mika what if we can't get her back? What if we end up just like her by doing this?

Mika: . . .

[ Mika looks at the dagger before talking. ]

Mika: Then we will be with her.
