REAPING Day

INT. Carter household-

Evangeline enters her house to find that Prim and her Mother are ready to go to the reaping, tidied up and neat.

Eve: Prim? Aww. Look at you. Beautiful. Better tuck in that tail little duck.

"So sweet" Rebekah smiles.

Mother: I layed something out for you too.

Eve responds with little thought: Thanks.

Sirius frowns noticing there was still a coldness between the two.

Eve is shown cleaning herself up with a rag and bucket of water and then changes into a dress.

James blushes.

Her mother braids her hair.
Ms. Carter: Now you look beautiful too.

Prim: I wish I looked like you.

Eve: "Aw, no. I wish I looked like you."

A horn is heard marking the countdown to the reaping.

The tension around the room increases, Bucky holds tighter onto Carter.

Kol was anxiously tapping his foot, he read the message in the beginning but he has no idea what to expect.

[Prim starts to fidget]

Eve: Hey, you wanna see the gift I got you today? It'll give you luck and protect you. As long as you have it nothing bad will happen. Okay? I promise.

Yelenas eyes water slightly at the scene. On their recent mission to take down the Red Room once and for all, a mission Carter had no reason to risk her life on, she had become a big sister to Yelena.

It bothered her in the beginning that she never knew Carters motive for helping and even more so because Nat wasn't bothered by it at all.

She pestered her for answers constantly. They were walking after their crash landing when she finally got somewhat of a response.

"Soo Alexi is really something huh?" Evangeline laughs looking at the other two.

"Why are you here?" Eve rolls her eyes at the question and shoves part of a gronala bar in her mouth making Nat give her a look of disgust.

Yelena looks to Nat, "why is she here?"

Nat throws her hands up exasperated, "she's helping us! Why does it matter?"

Yelena pouts childishly but shuts up.

Carter lets out an inaudible sigh shrugging her shoulders, "I like taking down fascist assholes, is that a good enough answer?"

To which Natasha lets out a surprisingly loud snort. She just shook her head at the two psychos she called sisters.

Evangeline turns to the other two girls ignoring the giant man child following behind them, "..so are we there yet?"
