By the end of my workout, Dante's unnotified appearance made me loathe him a little. He practically left me to dwell in the hellhole of sorts. I finally understand what it means to never judge a book by its cover, it's similar to what I've seen. Never judge a man who looks soft because he'll probably dump all types of excruciatingly exhausting circuits on you. I thought he might consider me a girl & go easy on you, cross. I thought he might notice how frail I look & would finally consider lessening my weary-making exercises, instead that only pushed him more to add up things that'll increase my muscle mass. I can't exactly place how nutrition & physical tension will make my body leaner. I thought it made one look bulkier. I guess I have no option but to trust myself with him. I'll do everything I possibly can, not that it makes the entire vengeance plan any easier but I assume it's far easier than mental sacrifices.
I was a heaping mess & still had to learn how to breathe the right way after Antonio spotted me only taking frantic breaths in contrast to the long, deep ones that he had told me about. Patting myself dry before I headed to change & shower in this dangerously strange place, I spotted a serious conversation between Dante & Antonio. I wonder if he's schooling Antonio for being hard on me for my first day here or perhaps he's the one who's against my lousy physique.
If it's about me, I'd like to know but it isn't like Dante will tell me. Antonio wouldn't dare go against his master, would he? An airy breath escaped me as I embarked on my journey to rant about today to Dante. I am not a child. I won't complain. I will simply ask him to make an amendment. It's that I used to buy myself things when I managed to accomplish things back home. I'll simply ask him if I can still do the same. A young woman's endless expenditure is her right after all.
"Hello Lucifer, I thought you were going to enlist me for the spiritual realm for the evil only in the afterlife. I had no idea you were up for implementing it here as well.", I finished & he was looking at me like I had grown horns upon my head, or was blabbering in gibberish. "I. Don't understand what you mean by that. Though I may consider your words if only you proceed to clarify them." Instead of beating around the bush, I decided to take the problem head-on. "I wanna buy new clothes & spend money for the sake of satisfaction. I used to do that before, but now as you know I've gone broke & you remember kid-napping me right? So in this horrendous turn of events I shall do it for the sake of sanity.", I finished in a breathless go once & for all. Well, to sabotage the nervousness that may threaten settling in. As I played with my hands glaring at the ground he was in a thought process when he suddenly handed me his platinum card.
"Thank you?", I said while staring astonishingly at the asset in my hands. "it's probably worth more than myself even", I joked. "that's not something to joke about Rosalia", oh boy was he possibly angry at me? "You mean about my life", I fired back at him. "About how much it may be worth. Never say that again. Let's go buy you some more clothes. shall we?" He was intensely glaring at me but also somehow he was soft & fuzzy for caring about what I had said about myself, afterward motioning for us to escape the heavily sweaty smell hanging in the gymnasium. I followed him out, the car awaiting us not far away. The chauffeur sat in the driver's seat & he got out to open the doors for us in the backseat.
It didn't take us quite long until we reached the elite's popular boutiques. I had no idea where to buy clothes from, that problem was taken care of as we stopped right before a particular shop. It wasn't a posh area. The shop had no visitors & could tell even from the atmosphere outside the boutique. Alarms went off in my head& I slowed until an immediate stop while lightly clinging onto Dante & whispering, "Dante I know I asked you to take me for shopping but I had intentions of paying you back soon enough. I wasn't going to spend your money regardless of how tempting it may be for a woman & you know I can't afford to afford a piece from this boutique. It will take me my entire life to return.", I declared anxiously & Dante looked unsatisfied yet perplexed for some reason. "Rosa, you don't have to fret about anything & I never said anything about letting you money. I am not a cheapstake. I have money. I will spend it. Now I want you to have no regrets & no questions on the matter. Please don't dishonor me in front of my men dear."
He said please. OH MY GOOD LORD. Dante Cavallaro said please. This has to be a golden moment in history. He said please & that to me. OH MY GOD, I'VE LOST MY MIND.
"Whatever. Don't go back on your word, Dante.", I was shocked to the point of calling him by his first name. But that wasn't equivalent to the cold slap of reality as a pale, young, honey-eyed girl stood across the street with papers in her hand. Her hair gone brutally messy & not the smooth strands I left her with. She was distributing papers that must have my pictures because when she looked me in the eye & took my presence in. Her emotions shattered.
