Sergio's POV

BOOM!

I kicked the ball into the goal scoring a point. I heard my team cheer me on.

"That was great Sergio." My friend Daniel appraised me as he pulled me into a half hug. We walked towards the bleacher to get water.

"So how come we never heard of this fiancée of yours." Daniel asked me as I took a swig out of my water bottle.

"Just wanted to keep it private." I shrugged as I wiped the sweat off my forehead with the hem of my shirt.

"She's fine though my man."  He playfully hit my arm and I shot him a glare. He nervously backed off.

"So when the wedding?"

"2 weeks." He looked at me shocked with how sudden the wedding was.

"Damn you really want her badly." He joked with me as he took a swig of his bottle.

"Yeah." He laughed as he got up from the bleacher.

"Excited for the game tomorrow?" I laughed as I got up.

"Always." I said as we both ran off to the field.

...

I walked into the house to feel the cold air conditioner hit my face. I dropped my bag as I peeled my shoes off my feet to walk to my room.

"Miss, I can't let you do that!" I heard a commotion coming from the kitchen. As I walked into the room I saw one of the maids trying to get Emilia to stop cleaning. I coughed announcing that I was in the room. The maid looked at me scared and Emilia just stared at me. I walked towards her and squat so I was at her eye level.

"What you doing Lia?" I asked her shortening her name. She looked at me confused.

"Cleaning." she said as she continuing scrubbing the floor. I picked her up putting her on her feet. I stared into her deep chocolate eyes.

"That's not your job Lia." She looked around trying not to meet my gaze.

"I-I don't know what else I would do." She admitted looking to the side as her cheek turned red.

"Lia you can do anything in the world you want." She looked up at me unsure.

"Come with me." I said as I walked out of the kitchen. I heard her small footsteps follow after me. I led her to my office where I had a computer.

"Is there a job you always wanted?" I asked her and she looked at me thinking long about it.

"I-I always wanted to be a singer." She looked away from me. I looked at her intrigued. I already know who to take her to meet.

"Tomorrow 12pm be ready I'll take you to meet someone." She looked back at me. Her dark brown curls covered her face. I must say she is a very attractive woman.

"T-thank you so much Sergio." Her soft angelic voice was a thing I found interesting about her.

"No problem Lia." I said as I got up and walked towards her. I looked down at her and she adverted her gaze. I looked at her cheek and see the bruise that was still there.

"Who hurt you Lia?" She jolted and jumped back at my question.

"N-nobody." She said as she ran out of my office.

She's lying.
