Emilia's POV

As we entered the house all eyes were immediately on me and Sergio. We walked in hand in hand acting as a couple who were madly in love. I started to crawl in my own skin with all these eyes on me. I felt like they were judging my height, skin, hair, and body. I felt Sergio give my hand a tight squeeze and I instantly felt my body relax.

"Gioooo!!" A tall man with no hair but a thick but short beard came up to us. Sergio gave him a slight hug.

"Coach this is Emilia." Sergio introduced me and the guy turns his attention to me. He examined me and immediately had a big grin on his face.

"It's so nice to meet you Emilia! Im Victor." He said pulling me into a hug. My whole body tensed up as I look at Sergio for help and he just let a small chuckle out.

"Babe leave the poor girl alone." An older woman with beautiful jet black hair came to my rescue and he broke the hug. I let out a deep breath giving Sergio the death glare.

"You must be Emilia." The woman came and shook my hand. She was a very beautiful woman with deep black eyes to match her eyes and tan skin.

"I'm Vanessa, Victors wife."

"It's nice to meet you." I said as she lets my hand go.

"It's finally so nice to see Sergio bring someone to these dinners." Vanessa whisper to me and we giggle a little bit.

"You better not be telling her something embarrassing Van."

"I would never Gio." Vanessa goes to give him a quick hug. As I realize more that his team is like a second family to him. I smile knowing he had all the support he needs but I couldn't help to feel a hint of jealously.

"You have to come meet the other wives Emilia." Vanessa suggested and I look back to Sergio. He gave me a look saying it's my decision and I took a deep breath and nodded. Vanessa grew a big smile as she dragged me away to go meet the other wives

"Hi I'm Selena!" One after another all the wives introduce themselves to me. I felt overwhelmed at all of the attentions and questions being thrown at me. I wish Sergio's calming presence was next to me but I look over to see him talking to his other teammates.

"Yall chill give Emilia some room to breathe." Vanessa made all them back off. I let a deep breath out.

"Now Emilia how did you and Sergio meet?" Vanessa asked me and my heart stop. I know me and Lucía went over our story many of times but this is the first time ever telling it.

"In Cuba, we were both on vacation there and we just hit it off." I gave them a short version of our cover story trying my best to make it sound believable.

"I remember when Oli took me took me Cuba. The beaches are so beautiful." A woman I think her name was Rosa chimes in. My stomach tightens as I have to lie to these women.

"Yeah they were amazing." I looked down at my cup filled with water. After my last incident with alcohol I did not want a repeat.

"When is the wedding?" Another woman ask and now that I think about it is in 2 days. In 2 days I will be Emilia Hernandez.

"In 2 days." They all looked surprised and started congratulating me.

"What are you gonna do your first night marri-."

"Hey." Sergio walked up behind me placing a hand on my shoulder. He leaned down planting a kiss on my cheek obviously playing the part of a happy couple.

"You ready to go?" He asked me and I shot my eyes up giving him a slight nod. It's not that I find these girls bad or anything but it's all to much at once.

"I'm sorry hopefully we can see each other again soon." I got up excusing myself and all of them seemed confused at our sudden entrance. Sergio hold my hand as we exited the house to go to his car but as we exited we were showered in flashing lights snapping at us. I was confused as they found us because this was a private property.

"Come on." Sergio tightened his grip on my hand and started pushing through the mob of cameras. They were shoving and pushing asking us intrusive questions. We finally got into the car but we couldn't move because they surrounded the car.

"F**k!" Sergio cursed as he scrambled around for his phone. He ran his fingers through his hair as his phone rings.

"Esteban we got a problem." He starts talking to the other person on the other line as I look to be met by a bright flash. Once my eyes adjust the woman who took it jumped and cheered.

"Lia." I look over to Sergio as he had an apologetic look on his face.

"Im sorry about all this."

"No it's not your fault it's them they won't stop at anything." My hands connect with the sides of his neck. My brain runs back to the room and how soft his lips felt against mines and how right it felt. Suddenly all the cameras didn't seem to matter the only thing that mattered was him.

"Lia." He let out a soft whisper as his eyes flicker from my eyes to my lips. My heart raced as our faces slowly inch closer to each other.

KNOCK!

We were interrupted on a knock at the window and there was a big tall guy in an all black suit and an earpiece.

"Give me a minute." He say letting go of my hand and getting out of the car to talk to the guy. I left my head fall against the seat.

God this guy is driving me insane.
