Sergio's POV

She took me by surprised when she hugged me but my arms instantly wrapped around her. Her brown curls spread out on her back and she smelled like strawberries. Emilia was a truly beautiful woman. I wanted to hurt whoever hurt her in past. But the most I could do for her right no was just comfort her. When I was told I was going to marry a random girl I imagined someone who was after my money and fame. Emilia was none of those things, she was a pure hearted kind person. She was not selfish or rude she was hurt many times but she always kept strong. Maybe if we met under different circumstances we could've been something more but we can only be friends. My plan was to be married for a year then divorce so she can go out and live her life freely.

I heard her snore as she fell asleep in my arms. I chuckled as I picked her up and carried her to her room. As I sat her down on her bed I took a moment to admire her. But I quickly stopped myself and went to leave but I stopped when she muttered a name.

"Antonio please stop." She mumbled to herself. Now a million thoughts ran through my mind. Who was Antonio? Was he her boyfriend? Why does she sound afraid? I looked back at her shivering. I walked back to her and covered her with the blanket and she looked peaceful. I forced myself to walk out the room into my own. I fell on my bed sighing. I opened my phone to see a text from Ana. I opened the text seeing a link I pressed on it.

Pro fútbol player Sergio Hernandez announced engagement! Who is this mystery woman?

I read the headline of the article. I scrolled down to see the post of me and her and pictures from my game yesterday. The press was only able to figure out her name. I wasn't surprised because I'm sure her parents hid her at all costs. I got a text from Addie and opened it.

Addie 🙄: Bring wifey to the label tomorrow with your lawyer they want to sign her on.

I smiled knowing she'd be signed on.

Sergio: thank you Addie.

Addie 🙄: of course Gio.

I plugged my phone in and I fell asleep. I was exhausted from today and tomorrow I needed to lift weights to make sure I stay in shape.

"Serrrrrgio." I woke up to see Emilia looking at me with a childish grin. I sat up rubbing my eyes looking at her confused.

"Lia?" She giddily shushed me as she grabbed a tray full of food. She sat down on my lap.

"I wanted to make you breakfast as a thank you."

"You didn't have to." She gave me a smile. Her smiles were so cute.

"I wanted to." She said as I looked down at the food. It looked tasty but I knew I couldn't eat this. I had to stay on my diet. I looked back up to see a confused expression on her face. I didn't want to make her sad so I took a big bite out of it. I know I was gonna regret this later but as long as she's happy.

"This tastes so f**king good Lia." She was an amazing cook. I noticed she didn't have anything. I grabbed her wrist pulling her to make her sit on my bed.

"Wha-" I cut her off by shoving the fork full of food in her mouth.

"You need to eat too Lia." Her cheeks flushed as she looked away chewing. She was adorable when she's flustered.

"Addie said she wanted us to meet her because the label wants to sign you." Her neck snapped back looking at me. She swallowed the food as she got a big smile on her face.

"Really!" I laughed as she celebrated. I put more food in her mouth and she looked at me surprised. I couldn't help but to laugh at her angry face. She couldn't help but to laugh too.

"Yeah this seems good for my client." My lawyer said putting the contact down.

"We're glad." The businessman seemed excited and Emilia sat there eagerly wanting to sign. My lawyer slid the paper to her. She took the pen and instantly signed the paper. She slid it back to my lawyer as he gave it to the men.

"Ms. Delgado or rather Mrs. Hernandez we will contact you and set you up with a publicist and manager. We also want you in the studio to make a debut single." Emilia smiled and nodded. The men left as it left us with Addie.

"I'm so proud of you girl." Addie congratulated her.

"Thank you Addison."

"Call me Addie Emilia." Lia smiled as I saw Addie get an idea.

"We should go out and celebrate tonight." Emilia instantly agreed and Addie looked at me.

"I have to train tonight."

"Buzzkill." Addie waved me off but Lia looked at me concerned. I gave her a smile as I got up from the chair.

"I got to go, can you take her home?" Addie nodded and I gave Emilia a quick smile before I left. F**k that food is giving me a headache. I knew I was gonna regret it.
