Emilia's POV

[SONG SUGGESTION: THINKIN BOUT YOU BY FRANK OCEAN]

We are in the car currently on the way home. Lucía took a different car so it's just me and Sergio. It was a quiet car ride, I thought it would be awkward atmosphere but it's a strangely comfortable one. Everything felt like it was ok. I slowly dropped my head to hit his muscular but yet soft shoulder. The cool breeze fanned across me as I closed my eyes I take in the peaceful moment. Then I felt the weight on my head. I look up to see him laying his head on mine. It was like he wanted to feel the peacefulness too. I closed my eyes enjoying it.

My heart flutters at this moment we are sharing together. I've nothing experienced this type of peacefulness. Not with Antonio not with anyone. A smile paints itself on my face as I slowly drift off to sleep feeling happy.

...

I slowly open my eyes to look up at my ceiling. I sat up in my clothes from yesterday but my shoes were off and I was under the blanket. I smiled knowing he probably brought me up here last night not waking me up. I got up out of bed to go to the bathroom to take a shower. Once I was done I got dressed and went downstairs to see nobody there. No maids, no in laws, no Sergio, no one.

I felt a little disappointed but I couldn't expect everyone to be here. I sighed as I walked and sat down on the couch. It was so quiet you could hear a pencil drop. I looked at my phone to see a text.

Sergio: I had to go to practice for the game today Addie will pick you up if you want to go.

I smiled knowing now why things were quiet. God I need to know when his games are. I text h back that I want to and run back upstairs. I look at myself my brown curls falling to my side and my bruise barely visible anymore. I ran to my closet to look for my jersey of his Addie gave me but I couldn't find it. I scoured the whole house for it but I couldn't find it. I started to panic until I get an idea.

He has to have some in his room. I stood at his door building the courage to go in there. I took a deep breath as I slowly twisted the knob. I slowly opened the door sneaking my way in. I know I'm by myself but I still felt like I was committing a crime. His room was dark with black sheets and his curtains shut. His room smelled like his woodsy bourbon cologne that was addicting to smell. I inched to his closet slowly opening it. I looked to see his regular neutral colors of clothes but when I look to the side there it was. It looked like an older jersey with dirt stains and some small tears. I grabbed it looking at it. It was the only jersey he had so my only option but I felt a pull to wear it.

I took it as I quickly ran out of his room slamming his door shut as I see Addie standing at the stairwell giving me a smirk.

"Stealing clothes I see." She sheepishly says walking closer to me.

"I lost the one you gave me and needed one so I thought-!"

"Emilia!" She cut me off from my rambling. She was laughing. I was confused at her reaction.

"I'm not interrogating you."

"I think it's perfect." She says taking the shirt and holding over me. She was examining like she had ideas running through her mind.

"I got an idea!" She said taking me and dragging me off to my room. She sat me down on my bed and went through my closet. She came out with clothes held tightly to her chest.
