Chapter 2 : He's like hell.

POV BILLIE :

This morning I'm preparing for my first real school day.
It's 6:50 AM I leave the bed and go eat my breakfast in the kitchen, Shark my dog is asking for cuddles so I give him some I love my dog so much.
He doesn't have to deal with school life.

After breakfast is eaten I feed Shark and I head to the bathroom.
I start my skincare and I do a light makeup.
I find a pair of jeans and a sweat, I put my socks on and a pair of sneakers.
07:25 I leave the house.

I enter into the taxi, I'm a bit nervous but I'm sure being anxious won't help to have a good day so I ignore my anxiety.

07:45 I'm arrived at school, the doors open always 15 min before school starts.

At 8AM I join my class anxious, today I decide to sit next to a girl , Jesse apologized for his behavior, but who's telling me he's not gonna start being rude again today.

I ask " Hi, I'm Billie can I sit next to you ?"
She smiles pulling the chair out for me " Hi sure , my name is Zoé."

We talk a bit before the teacher starts his class, she seems so kind and caring.
Zoe might be my first university friend.
The class starts, this morning's first subject is maths, I hate maths but here we are.

Zoe and I try to help each other with the exercise it's kinda tough...
Today I haven't seen Jesse I'm wondering where he is but whatever.

As soon as I start thinking about him, the door of the class is opening and I see Jesse entering in the class, he talks to the teacher " Good morning sorry for being late."

The teacher seems a bit mad " Good morning Jesse , it's the third time you're late in 2 days careful.
Next time I won't accept you in my class."

Jesse nods and is looking for a seat, he sits to the table behind me, I try to say good morning to him but he completely ignored me.

About 20 min later the teacher asks us to answer to the exercise with our answers.
I raise my hand and I say the right answer like 10 times.
Everyone in the class is surprised by my level, I always had good grades in maths even tough I don't like this subject that much.

Around 1PM it's time for lunch, Zoe and I eat together at the self.
She's so kind and sweet I'm sure we're gonna have good times together at school.

She talks about Jesse and she tells me that he's always been a rebellious guy and that he makes fun of everyone most of the time.

But I don't know why I'm intrigued by him, I want to be his friend or something just be close to him.
Even tough he did not even care to say me a good morning or anything.

I should stop thinking about him, we are so different.
If I stay around him I'll be bad at school and he's not good to hang out with anyway...

Around 2 PM the last class of the day starts, maths again bro.

Jesse forgot to bring his pencil I give him one in the middle of the class, he thanks me.
He doesn't let go of my hand I don't know why, I giggle nervously " You don't take the pencil?"

He stops " Oh yeah sorry... umm... I thought something was on your hand.
Thank you..."

I answer " Whatever it's fine, at least you can do the exercise now..."
That touch seemed to be voluntary but I must be paranoid...

Jesse struggle with the exercise and his foot is shaking again I wanna help him, I look at him and point on his paper " Hey, you want me to help you with the exercise?"

He yells " I don't need your help ! What the hell do you want , miss that is good in maths."

I'm surprised I just wanted to help " what the hell is wrong with you! I just wanted to help you, you're so rude !"

Jesse looks at me and start laughing " can everyone tell Billie that she's so annoying and weird!"
The classmates start laughing just because Jesse said it, the hell is wrong with this man.

Zoe defends me " You're so pathetic Jesse... I never liked you. And you guys stop making fun of her and focus on your damn exercises!"

The class ended after about 5 min, I went to the bathroom and started crying, I'm so humiliated.

Zoe give me a hug " Hey Billie... don't cry, he's, he's stupid do not care about him.
When you see him tomorrow do not approach him okay?
It's okay I'm with you. We are gonna support each other."

I feel a bit better with Zoe comforting me, I nod " Yeah thank you... "
Zoé and I leave school together I head to the private taxi giving her a goodbye hug and thanking her for being kind and defending me.

She leaves, I'm about to open the door when I see Jesse looking at me from far away.
He try to approach me " Don't even think of it!"

I bet it's still his stupid apologies again, I don't care.
I'd rather go home.
