The atmosphere in the living room is charged with tension as Jesse, after much contemplation, decides to have a difficult conversation with Billie. They sit on the couch, the weight of unspoken words lingering in the air.

Jesse, hesitating but sincere: "Billie, there's something I need to tell you. It's not easy, but I believe honesty is crucial in our relationship."

Billie, sensing the gravity of the moment, looks at Jesse with a mixture of anticipation and concern: "What is it, Jesse?"

Jesse, taking a deep breath: "I've been spending time with Lara, and... I've developed feelings for her. I didn't expect this to happen, and it's tearing me apart to admit it."

Billie, stunned, processes the revelation, her eyes searching Jesse's for clarity: "Feelings for Lara? Jesse, what does this mean for us?"

Jesse, regret in his voice: "I don't know, Billie. I never intended for this to happen, but I can't keep it from you. I need to figure out my feelings and where we stand."

Billie, grappling with the emotions, nods slowly: "I appreciate your honesty, Jesse. We need to talk and figure out what this means for both of us."

As Jesse's revelation hangs heavy in the air, Billie, overwhelmed by a surge of emotions, feels tears welling up in her eyes. She blinks rapidly, trying to hold back the flood of tears, but the weight of the situation becomes too much to bear.

Billie, her voice breaking: "Jesse, I... I can't believe this. It hurts."

Jesse, torn by the impact of his words, reaches out to comfort her, but there's an unspoken distance between them. Billie, unable to contain her emotions, lets the tears stream down her face.

Billie, through choked sobs: "We had something special, Jesse. How did we end up here?"
Jesse, grappling with his own remorse, struggles to find the right words: "Billie, I never wanted to hurt you. I just need to be honest about what I'm feeling."

Billie, her voice trembling with a mix of disbelief and hurt, confronts Jesse with the contradiction she's feeling.

Billie, tearfully: "Jesse, you told me you were in love with me. How did we go from that to... this?"

Jesse, grappling with the weight of his own words, struggles to respond: "Billie, I meant every word I said. But these feelings for Lara, they've blindsided me. I didn't plan for any of this to happen."

Billie, frustration and sadness evident in her eyes: "Love isn't supposed to be a switch you can just turn on and off, Jesse. You can't tell me you love me one day and then have feelings for someone else the next."

Billie, struggling to catch her breath, pleads with Jesse through tearful sobs:

Billie: "Jesse, I can't breathe. This pain, it's too much. You told me you loved me, and now... it feels like everything is collapsing."

Jesse, torn by remorse, reaches out to her, but the distance remains palpable:

Jesse: "Billie, I never wanted to hurt you. I'm drowning in my own mistakes, and I don't know how we got here."

Billie, voice trembling with emotion: "Love shouldn't feel like this, Jesse. It shouldn't suffocate me. How could you do this to us?"

Jesse, desperate to convey his own internal struggle: "Billie, please understand. These feelings for Lara blindsided me. I never meant for us to end up like this."

Jesse, sensing the overwhelming distress he has caused, moves closer. He reaches out to comfort her, gently placing his hands on her shoulders.

Jesse, softly: "Billie, I'm here. Try to breathe with me, okay? In and out, slowly."
