"My Son, what principles has the Kronos Family upheld for centuries? What have I taught you?"

"Humanity cannot be trusted with its own free will. It is down to us to enact chaos and keep the balance in check... To box in our enemies and destroy them."

"Very good, you listened. It's almost time, Y/N, for you to inherit my wish, my ambition-the wishes and ambitions of my Father and his, and his. The law of the Kronos family will never die. We live on through you. Hold it close; keep it a secret. Your box of secrets."

I lifted my eye mask, yawning, and saw the sun beginning to rise. I hadn't slept that well in a while, so I felt pretty refreshed.

"You talk in your sleep." Gojo giggled, sitting on the chair behind me, leaning forward. "Good morning, Y/N."

"And there goes the feeling of being refreshed. Why are you so obsessed with me, man?" I sigh, sitting up and staring blankly at him. "One day, can't I have one day without you popping up like a COD game pushing battle passes and cringe crossovers."

"I prefer Fortnite." Gojo points out.

Standing up, I open my curtains. "Course you do. Whatcha want?"

"Wanna grab breakfast?"

"No."

"Aww, come on, please. I'm bored."

My eye began to twitch as I kept my calm, smiling. "And that's my problem. How?"

"You must be hungry, no? Come on, my treat."

"If you're paying," I grumble, standing up, ready to go. "I want some proper breakfast, not whatever Japanese breakfast you do."

"Ayi." He smirks, walking with his arm around my shoulder. "There's just one thing you need to do for me first, bestie."

DK stood at the end of the hallway, flipping the bird at Gojo and shouting. "There's always something we've got to do! Don't listen to this fucker! Let me kill him, kill him!"

I stared at DK blankly, getting Gojo's attention. "Your Cursed Spirit isn't happy with me, is she?"

"She's flipping the bird and calling you names, I refuse to say."

"Ouch, I may be the strongest, but I have feelings too, you know." He chuckles, wagging his finger. "Don't worry, this shouldn't be a problem for the Blood Empress. It's just a small issue to be resolved."

I stare up at a giant abandoned hospital, tapping my foot. "Small issue, huh?"

Gojo, on his phone, was nodding and smiling. "Yup, we've had many reports of the place being haunted and such. I think it's safe to assume the hospital is filled to the brim with Cursed Spirits. I'm sure you can clear them out."

"Why don't you just do it?" I point out, ready to walk away. "You're the 'strongest' after all."

Gojo caught the end of my hoodie, nodding. "That I am; this would be a cakewalk for someone like me. But I want you to do it. Just because you got off easy with the Council this time doesn't mean they aren't watching. You need to earn your keep, as they say. You do this, and everyone will feel less paranoid around you."

"How much are we talking here?"

"Ahh, like 2%. Better than nothing."

"This place is huge; it could take me all day."

Gojo was already walking off, shrugging away the idea. "I doubt it; there shouldn't be any strong Cursed Spirits in there. But if you need my help, just cry like a baby, and I'll consider helping. I'll see you when it's done. Or when you're dead."
