"I can't believe you stole that kid's chocolate DK..." Miwa whispered, wearing a Xenomorph outfit and holding two bags of sweets and chocolate, both of which DK had managed to accumulate.
DK spun around, laughing away, wearing a Samus power armour costume and counting her bounty. "It's not called trick or treat for a reason. The brat got what was coming to him."
"DK, he was five," Miwa argued, shaking her head. "I know they say trick or treat, but you just give them a treat."
"Huh? Then what's the point of saying trick or treat if you can never use trick?" DK whimpered, holding a box of eggs. "So I can't egg Gojo's estate?"
"No!"
"Man... I thought Halloween was meant to be fun, Kasumi; this blows."
"Think of it this way: We got some chocolate, and we went to that haunted house."
"The only thing haunted about that place was the price. My allowance has died and gone straight to hell," she moaned, rubbing her nose. We're still going to watch some scary movies, right?"
"Of course, what do you want to watch?"
"Only the greatest horror franchise is known to mankind. Evil Dead!"
Miwa paused, taken back. "I was not expecting that option. I thought you'd say something like Friday the 13th or That Time You Thought Toy Story was a Horror Movie."
"It most certainly is! You can't tell me the idea of your toys being alive plotting your murder and making it look like a suicide isn't terrifying!"
"Right... Well, if we're going to get through the whole series, we should head back now."
DK paused as she looked into the distance, her hand trembling. "Y/N..."
"I know you care about him a lot, DK, but like... He'll call you when he's back at school. You worry too much about him."
"N-No... I... I've lost connection with him." She echoed, walking forward dazed. "I can't feel him."
Miwa looked a little more surprised, eyebrow raised. "What do you mean you can't feel him? Wait, are you saying..."
"He's not dead!" DK snapped, shutting down that thought. "Even though Y/N isn't my vessel anymore, we still share that connection; we can feel each other's presence even halfway across the country. If he's ever in trouble, he can take me to him. I would never leave him defenceless. It's just... If I cannot get hold of Y/N, it means something is blocking our signal. I need to get to Shibuya now."
"Shibuya, but that's hours away. How could y-." Miwa was cut off as DK vanished on the spot through a puddle's reflection, having teleported out. She stared blankly, sighing. "Right... Special Grade Cursed Spirit... How could I forget?

Two hours before the end of the world.
"I'm ready to go; thank you, Y/N."
Boom.
A giant plant root tore through the carriages; Aoi was torn apart before my eyes as I was left holding nothing apart from the old man's arms. My eyes widened as I dropped them, seeing Aoi killed in a split second.
"A... Aoi?"
My head pivoted as I felt a wash of fear consumes me—that feeling. There was, no doubt, a Special Grade. This was the work of a Special Grade.
My eyes pivoted as I stepped back, startled; an immense tan cursed spirit with black lines running across its entire body began approaching. The description caught me off guard. Yuji had told me about it, and it was the same Special Grade that attacked Tokyo High.
