I entered the police station with the boy's mom, and she kept crying, making my heart sink as I saw my anna sitting on the bench.
"Amma, appadi okaruga vanthura," I said to her, then went to my anna and sat next to her.
"Anna," I called as he turned to me.
"Sorry na," I said as tears rolled down my eyes.
"Ne yen ma sorry kekura?" Anna asked me.
"Natha na unna juvenile jail ku teacher ah poga unga sign potta," I said as he looked at me confused. Before I could say another word, I saw Charu mam enter the station. When she noticed me and anna, she quickly came to me and glared at my anna.
"Y/N, antha amma kuda poi iru, na unga anna kitta pesitu vara," Charu mam said as I hesitantly looked between him and her. Then I nodded and went to amma and took her outside as she hugged me and cried.
My phone rang, and I looked at it to see it's Sri.
"Amma, na tho vanthura," I said to her, then walked out of the station and answered the phone.
"Hey loose, en di innaiku clg varala," I heard Sri as I started to sob.
"Hey, hey, aluvuriya di, en di ennachu, enga iruka y/n, y/n?" he asked as I explained to him how Charu mam asked me for help and how I put the fake sign, making my anna go to the juvenile as a teacher, and now how two kids lost their lives.
"Na avan sign ah pottu iruka kudathu da," I said.
"Y/N ne alatha. Romba time ayiduchu vanthu pickup pannava?" he asked me.
"Illa vena, na Charu mam kuda thanga pora," I said as I saw Charu mam and amma walking out of the station.
"Na onnaku kalaila call pandra," I said, hanging up.
"Namma kelambala, Y/N," Charu mam said.
"Aana anna?" I asked her.
"Nammala ippa ethuvum panna mudiyathu, kalaila tha varanum," she said as I nodded because I know they won't let a girl stay.
Next day, before I could go to the police station, Anna called and said he is alright. He asked me to meet at his room. Now, I walked to the room that the government allotted to him. I saw unbelievable things happening as my anna was throwing away every bottle of alcohol.
"Anna, enna athisayamla nadakuthu?" I asked as he looked up at me and smiled.
"Vaa ulla polam," he said, putting his hand on my shoulder and guiding me to his room.
We both sat on his bed as he grabbed both my hands and looked up at me, displaying some emotions in his eyes.
"Na thappu pannita Y/N, na ineme atha panna maata athanala tha antha pasangaluku aanathu innoru kolanthaiku nadaka kudathunu nenaikura. En uyirey ponalum paravala nu na avangala na kapatha pora," my anna said as I smiled at him.
"Anna, ne enna pannalum na unkuda irupa unnaku onnu therinja pothum unnaku familynu na oruthi irukanu," I said to him as he nodded and kissed my hand.
"Yaaru ithula pandranganu therinjutha?" I asked him.
"Bavani nu oruthavana yaarume nerula paakala, Das tha anga ellame pandrathu," Anna said as I nodded. Then, I looked up at his face.
"Ne hairstyle layum thaadiyum change pannu," I suggested to him.
